The Jerry Garcia Band was formed in October 1975 and continued with some changes in members through April 1995.

TRAVIS BEAN (TB 1000A) was played by Jerry Garcia between 1975 and 1976. TRAVIS BEAN (TB500 with single-coil pickups and OBEL) was played by Jerry Garcia between 1976 and 1977.
TIGER, built by Doug Irwin, was played by Jerry Garcia between 1979 and 1995.
Jerry Garcia’s favorite guitar for The Jerry Garcia Band was played by him mostly during the 79-95 formation of the band.
