Loved this school, the community was very welcoming, and I was able to adapt very well. from sophomore year to senior year I learned a lot from the school.
As a freshman this high school for my first year was amazing. There’s countless opportunities such as getting an internship. For my first year I was never bored there were a lot of clubs for every niche! I recommend going to the clubs it’s really interesting. The staff in this school are also really understanding and kind and they’ll always help you. And for Muslims there’s also a praying room! But not every moment was always good there were hardships as well, if you’re applying to this school it’s pretty competitive in grades. There’s a lot of homework and such which was complicated to do like when I came home I was in a time crunch. I would definitely like to change that. And there’s also scanners which is annoying because you will always have to do it when you enter the school. But nonetheless these things didn’t make me dislike this school it’s a great school and I would recommend it to all.
DeWitt Clinton High School is a popular public high school located in the Bronx, New York City. It has a rich history and has been providing education to students for over a century. I had started attending this school while Covid-19 started to rise more. But, I didn't allow this to hinder my highschool experience. I made many friends with whom I communicate with till this day. As I grew older and rose throughout the grades, I started to see a change, I started to mature and change how I acted. Now, with this maturity developing within me so did some clarity. This caused me to lose friends along the way to where I am now and at the time it hurt because I had just lost a friend but, it would turn out the said people were hindering me from bettering myself. Same thing with heartbreaks, at the time I thought I lost the person I was going to spend my life with. But it turns out I only lost someone who was hindering me and preventing me from seeing who I really am and what I deserve.
