DeMatha Catholic High School Reviews
Rating 4.33 out of 5 202 reviews
An extremely welcoming environment for all kinds of kids. We were nervous at first about a "jock" culture given DeMatha's reputation for excellence in athletics but quickly learned there are students with varied interests. The staff seem dedicated to supporting all learners and the facilities are very good and compare favorably to other schools with more expensive tuition. Overall, were very pleased with this school for our son.
I transferred to DeMatha my sophomore year and the school helped me meet a lot of people and alumni’s that helped me evolve but also, you have mutiple connections with your teachers which helped me the long run. The best parts is when the school gets together and we sing the Alma mater. The worst part would be the traffic in the mornings. I would like nothing to change
DeMatha Catholic High School will always talk bout how it is a brotherhood and while I was a student I would put it off again and again but after graduating it hit me that it was. DeMatha High School was such a brotherhood school that I would recommend it to anyone who wants a school where you can make a friend group of any kind. The people there are very inviting! The best part of my experience at DeMatha Catholic was the friend groups made and the connections to teachers. The students were welcoming and the teachers were even more excited to help the student if anything was wrong. The worst part of the experience was the constant change in the class schedule, every year for me there was a new school schedule that was better or worse than the last and it was never consistent (this was during the COVID-19 pandemic). What I would like to see change is the size of the campus, it isn't the biggest high school campus there is but it is a great and productive place to be.
