OVERVIEW
Dr. Rudman is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has been in private practice with Head and Neck Surgical Associates, PA, since June of 2000 and is on staff at Menorah Medical Center, Research Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital. Dr. Rudman has served as Chair of the Otolaryngology Departments at Menorah Medical Center and Research Medical Center and has recently finished his term as President of the Medical Staff of Menorah Medical Center. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in l995 and was the recipient of many awards and honors during medical school, including being elected to the Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), as only a junior. His internship in general surgery was at Riverside General Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Rudman completed his ENT residency at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2000, where he also received …many awards and honors. He was first place in the Resident Research Award in 1997 and 2000, and won first place in the nation for clinical research from the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology in 2000.
Doctor Rudman addresses all areas of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and has special expertise in the use of radiofrequency technology to treat tonsils, adenoids, nasal obstruction and sleep disorders. He also has interest in advanced rhinology. Other specialties include da Vinci® transoral surgery, image-guided endoscopic sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery and CyberKnife robotic stereotactic radio surgery. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the American Rhinologic Society.
Dr. Rudman evaluates and treats pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat problems. His primary interest is to provide outstanding patient care.
He is a husband and proud father of three who enjoys travel, wine and golf.
