What do yall think of my guitar that I built?

This is my rendition of the signiture custom shop David gilmour blsck stratocaster. I added a floyd rose because I though it would look cool and I got the bridge for Christmas and I wanted to do something with it.

I’m guessing that’s a licensed neck - logo placement looks off

Hoping we're not looking at a fake Fender that will be sold to an unsuspecting person in the future.

😏

Nah ima keep it until I either die hopefully.

I mean it is a decal. I didn't have enough money for a real maple neck although I wish I did.

Looks like a black strat that’s for sure

What did you build?

I built a Floyd rose stratocaster. I based it on David Gilmour's black Stratocaster. I would've gotten the real Tremolo for it but I got a Floyd instead.

Cobbling together a Frankenstrat is considered building a guitar in this day and age everyone’s a luthier, they have the Amazon tools to prove it too.

Gate keeping is a sign of insecurity

I think it’s great. I built a partscaster, and it was way cheaper than buying from the custom shop or even a high dollar retail fender. I don’t dig the Floyd bc it’s not accurate…but hey, not my instrument
