Doctor shares update on Daryl Dike recovery at West Brom

Daryl Dike injury update emerges at West Brom as Doctor makes prediction

Daryl Dike may not consistently start for West Brom until 2025 after his latest Achilles injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The American international suffered his second recent Achilles rupture in the 2-2 draw against Ipswich earlier in the season, leaving the pitch in tears.

Injury expert Dr Brar admits that Dike will be focused on progressing his strength and movement right now, with rehab predicted to be complicated at The Hawthorns.

He’s roughly two months post surgery for his second Achilles rupture so the focus will be on continually progressing his strength, conditioning and movement in the gym.

The club will be aware of his injury history and will be monitoring him regularly.

There’s a very good chance that he’s not considered a regular starter every week until 2025 as this can be a lengthy and complicated rehab.

Daryl Dike injury blow at West Brom

Carlos Corberan will want his injured players back as soon as possible, but that isn’t the priority in the case of Dike, who has been here before.

Brandon Thomas-Asante has more pressure on his shoulders now, and that hasn’t led to him finding his best form, recently being sent off against Sunderland.

Dike is one of football’s good guys, and hopefully, he is back doing what he loves most soon.

In other West Brom news, supporters at the club are bound to be fearful after Corberan provided an update on Tom Fellows.
