Had to relive the summer of 2018 after our boys in white have somehow outdone themselves at Euro 2020. These lads have given me memories that will stick with me forever. Whatever the result is for the final they’ve done the whole nation proud.

Sports and Music films will always struggle to be anything more than generic as it’s a very limiting format but in this case, Daring to Dream was a rare success and clearly had an impact on future titles.
The film is largely a highlights package and fully banks on that nostalgia for the year/squad that played in that tournament but in fairness there is enough supplementary content, by way of interviews or B roll, so you have some kind of narrative or context to the competition to a stage where it becomes a competent ‘drama’ if you will.
