Harvey and Lisa’s relationship started in February 2000, and it led to a whirlwind romance that saw them take trips to vacation spots in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Germany. The two looked like perfect couple.
“I said, ‘I think we met so you can learn love.’ He said, ‘No, no, we met because we are supposed to have babies’ – and then I cried,” said Karmazin, a pottery instructor from San Diego in her 30s told the Manhattan Family Court per reports.
Before Karmazin, The Bugsy actor was in a relationship with Lorraine Bracco. Their romance was never consummated with marriage, but that did not stop them from having a child of their own, whom they named Stella Keitel, in 1985. In 1990, Bracco became a legit movie star, and an Oscar nomination followed swiftly, but things were only getting worse with Keitel. Per sources, while filming “A Talent for the Game,” Bracco slept with her co-star, Edward James Olmos, and when she later confessed it to Keitel, he hated her for it.
Karmazin and Keitel’s relationship was going on smoothly until when she did get pregnant, things began to go wrong between them although she and Keitel continued to have to get intimate. The damage to their relationship became irreparable on the day of the Twin Towers attacks, two weeks before Karmazin was to give birth to their son Hudson Karmazin Keitel. Lisa Karmazin revealed at a court hearing that, she tried to reach Harvey Keitel at his hotel in Toronto, where he was filming, instead of him, a woman picked up.

“I was very upset. I didn’t know what was going on,” said Lisa Karmazin per nypost, who later learned the woman was actress Daphna Kastner, who had met Keitel that day and has since married him. Keitel and Kastner first met at a party for Robert De Niro in the 80s.
At the time, Kastner let Keitel take her out on a dinner date on their first meeting and also came out to spend time with him the next day, after which he asked her if she would be willing to join him for a drink in his hotel room.
She turned down the offer, and the third time he asked to meet her again, she refused to see him. The next time they ran into each other, they were at another party for De Niro, and it had been 17 years.

Keitel refused to see their son for the first six months
Per Irishexaminer, the actor refused to see his baby son until six months after his birth, a court has heard. Karmazin claims he has visited the boy, who is now 13 months old, just three times. “I called him from the hospital in labour,” Lisa Karmazin told the Manhattan Family Court per the outlet’s report- “He said that he couldn’t make it, that he would be there in a couple of days. It took him six months to see his son.“
She was seeking child support from the actor for their son Hudson Karmazin Keitel. She said she named their son Hudson at the actor’s suggestion since the child was conceived at his home on Hudson Street.
