Kyly Clarke scrapes into the semi-finals on Dancing With The Stars after racy performance - while Matty 'J' Johnson and Tom Williams are out

On Monday's elimination round on Dancing With The Stars, Kyly Clarke scraped into the finals after her racy number with partner Gustavo Viglio.

The former WAG wowed the judges with a steamy contemporary number which saw her getting very up close and professional with professional dancer Gustavo.

When it came down to the wire, the pair scored 38, and faced a dance off with fellow contestants Matty 'J' Johnson and Tom Williams.

Judge Mark Wilson said of the pair: 'I look at the performance that took me on a journey the most, then the couple that I would like to put through to the grand finale is... Kyly and Gustavo.'

Todd McKenney disagreed, saying: 'If I was going to buy a ticket to an evening with somebody performing, I'd be buying the ticket for Matty and Ruby'.

It was the vote of Helen Richey which saved Kyly, with the iconic dancer saying she felt the performance in her 'heart and head'.

She told the pair: 'I have been dancing since I've been five years old, and I let my heart rule my head, but in this case my heart and head agree'.

Matty had recreated a samba number made famous by former contestant Chris Hemsworth during season five back in 2006.

It wasn't enough to win the judges over, although Todd McKenney believed that the former Bachelor should have been in the finals rather than Kyly.

Kyly swatted tears from her eyes when it was announced that she had won the round and would continue in the competition.

Going through to the finals for a shot at the crown are Bec Hewitt, Lincoln Lewis and Kyly Clarke.
