What travelers are saying
- Geof JGermantown, WI488 contributionsThis is a beautiful park with a lot of walking trails, peaceful nature and calming landscaping. We visited for a few hours one afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The vertical landscaping installations were fascinating as were the various water features. There are several water walls and other artistic water features that should not be missed. Well worth a visitWritten May 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- P HSan Antonio, TX7 contributionsThis was a very informative and interesting museum. One still wonders about how things happened with Lee Harvey Oswald..seems like he had help. But I guess we’ll never know. Great job on setting everything in place to see firsthand.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark HFond du Lac, WI3,011 contributionsI was looking for something to do while I had break in my work schedule. The Dallas Museum of Art is just a short walk from the massive downtown Marriott.
An exhibition of the Impressionists (runs through 11.03.24) was just the ticket to go for short walk in the sun. The show was well-thought out by telling the story of the period when these artists were outliers in the French art scene.
I also enjoyed the gold art from pre-Columbian cultures and the stories behind it.
Do yourself a favor, go for short walk if you'e downtown, enjoy some art and clear your head.Written March 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was great when we had a President that wanted to do the right things for the American People rather than worry about re-election. He was that kind of guy. Don't miss the walk to the graveyard and gardens. Love the sculpture. Stayed at an RV park nearby and we could ride our bikes there.Written April 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul Smith PalliserPeru308 contributionsThis is a must stop if you are visiting Dallas. There is not much to see but just standing there where JFK was assassinated hits big. The plaza is clean and easy to get to. - lwoudstraBrentwood, CA207 contributionsWe stopped here on our last day in Dallas. The sculptures were life-size and very impressive to behold. It is right next to the Pioneer Cemetery, which is right next to the Convention Center. We found parking on site because someone was just leaving when we arrived. There were several small parking spaces around the park. There were also metered street parking. We visited on a Sunday, so I don’t know if the meters were running. We walked around the park for an hour (free parking limit). The park was small, so there weren’t any bathrooms. We went into the Convention Center to use the bathroom. The view of the tall buildings from the Convention Center was great, too.Written April 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jerry@worldtripHouston, TX35 contributionsThe Dallas Zoo is an absolute gem and a must-visit destination! Plan to spend at least half a day here; it’s worth every minute. Make sure to grab a map as signage can be lacking, but once you navigate, the experience is unforgettable. The variety of food stalls and restaurants within the zoo is unparalleled, offering a delightful culinary journey alongside the wildlife adventure. This zoo is not only vast but also incredibly beautiful. It’s a definite highlight for anyone visiting Dallas.
