We had breakfast bowls that come with 5 ingredients you pick. Wife had avocado, onion, mushroom, tomato and sausage. I had bacon, sausage, chorizo, avocado and three cheeses mix. All tasty and bacon was very lean, not fatty at all! Excellent flavors, good portions, and...included bread; the croissant was flaky and like those in France. Currently, to-go orders and inside dining only in a Large banquet hall next door. Hopefully, the dining inside their restaurant will be open soon as lots of memobillia to view. Staff was all very friendly, thankful for the business, and spoke excellent English. Very clean restrooms. Will be dining here more!More

Our bicycling group of 7 arrived around 11:30am. There are some bike racks right out front. It was quite busy with people eating, in line ordering, and those picking up meals to go. Everyone i had contact with from Brewhemia was very nice. We got...our order in fairly fast, and then sat at an outside covered table just around the corner of the building. All of our meals came out in decent time. I ordered the Newbo Cheesesteak. It came with a side of chips. The cheesesteak was very yummy. And a decent sized serving. We had a wonderful visit. I would certainly return.More

Brewhemia is winning what true coffee geeks sometimes refer to as The Ristretto War. These folks are coffee artists creating shots most pleasing to the pallet. Plus they offer the best breakfast in Cedar Rapids. Pancakes, omelets, and great Hispanic fare. Good place I indeed....Oh yeah, sandwiches, burgers, and chili!More

Went here with my son as we were waiting to pick my daughter up for lunch so we thought we would pop it for coffee. Friendly were greeted as we walked in and asked to take a seat and she would come to us. Very...relaxed atmosphere we were up stairs in the gin bar your lucky in Edinburgh to find this. May be as this was in late morning. Decor was refreshing as well but would go back when next in town.More

I hadn't been to Brewhemia's new location for anything but coffee (yummy), so my husband and I popped in for lunch last week. It was delicious! I ordered a quiche with sausage, red peppers and cheese, and it was honestly the best quiche I've ever...had. My husband's Mediterranean wrap was great, too. Very pleasant staff and good prices. Fun!More

After striking up a conversation with one of the owners of Brewhemia and then spending about 90 minutes hanging out there, I am convinced of their sincere effort to bring a unique experience to this revived old Czech neighborhood in Cedar Rapids. These guys are...serious about producing the best possible hot or cold beverage for their visitors' personal experience. Although they don't want it to be pretentious or intimidating they are on the cutting edge of all things coffee (check out their Nitro brew), they make everything in-house that goes out of their kitchen, and Brewhemia provides breakfast options and sandwich options, all of which are hand-crafted and as locally sourced as possible. They also offer beer, wine and spirits--again, if they can be traced to roots in Iowa, they are on the menu, along with other quality varieties. If you're like me, you might not know what some of the different brew or coffee options area--but, they are patient and encourage your questions. So, engage the barista and learn! I am confident that if you like a relaxed but cool vibe, incredible coffee and drinks, plus a chance to grab a bite while you're there, Brewhemia will provide all of that for you.More

Ordered the mother earth omelette. The cook burned one side of it but deceptively turned that side in so the omelette looked great when delivered. No time to send back so just made myself eat it. Yuck!

We visited CR from out of state and had breakfast here. It was delicious, they have a variety of breakfast and lunch options and a cute atmosphere however the blonde who took our order was not very friendly and it seemed she didn't want to...be there. As we enjoyed our means I noted this same person often turning her back to customers to talk with other staff. It's sad that millennials act as if customers owe them something when we are giving them business! Overall, if visiting again we will return to support this small business.More

Went for the coffee not realizing they had a breakfast and lunch menu. Food was excellent! Everything is cooked fresh to order. Biscuits and gravy are very good; breakfast burritos are stuffed full of eggs, cheese, beans and your choice of meat (chorizo was really...good, made in-house). Extensive coffee drink menu. Also serve beer and wine! Something for everyone.More

We had breakfast here yesterday and I enjoyed the omelet for the first time. This is my third time eating here, as I only visit Cedar Rapids monthly or so. The staff is always accommodating and the food is very good. The biscuits and gravy...are pretty special. The coffee is AMAZING!More

I recommend this to everyone looking for a coffee date, breakfast, lunch, after work drink with a friend. They really manage to do it all. Go with a friend, or make new friends here. (I believe they serve breakfast all day but you won't want...to say no to the amazing lunches!) Great dynamic and i am a sucker for the barista designs in my froth lol. This is in the flood district - so go and support a place that is doing good!!!More

Such a wonderful little surprise in Cedar Rapids, just across the street from Newbo City Market. They have coffee for everyone - including the "just give me a cuppa coffee" drinkers and the uber fancy coffee drinkers that prefer their cold brew a la Japanese-style...drip towers or Nitrogen infused. Geek it out! :) I visited three times in one weekend. Coffee was always perfection, food was always a little slow but worth the wait. Seasonal treats too - in fact there was a little something different each day. They also serve wine and beer! I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy this side of the counter, but it seems like a brilliant idea. It's obvious there's a lot of love put into this coffee shop/business, and they are very deserving of your patronage.More
