Cynthia Nixon

    Cynthia Nixon is an American actress. She is best known for her Emmy-winning performance as Miranda Hobbes on Sex and the City and And Just Like That... Nixon also won an Emmy for her guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, a spoken word Grammy for An Inconvenient Truth, and two Tonys for Rabbit Hole and The Little Foxes. In 2018, she ran for governor of New York but lost to incumbent Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary.
