Aurora Home Insulated 72-inch Thermal Blackout Curtain Panel Pair - 52 x 72

They really do block directly sunlight!

These curtains do an excellent job of blocking light. My son's bedroom gets a lot of direct sunlight, so I bought two pairs of the gray drapes. As soon as we hung up the second pair, we had to turn on the bedroom light--that's how effective they are. The drapes are made from a very heavy polyester fabric that has a decent drape to it. The fabric has a rather spongy feel to it. I tried to iron the wrinkles out of the curtains, but that didn't work at all, so I put the drapes through a light wash to get the crease/fold wrinkles out of them, and hung them while they were still a little damp. That worked very well. The only thing that kept me from giving these drapes a 5-star review was the tie backs. They are entirely too short for the thickness of the drapes, so we can't use them, and I only received one pair of tiebacks instead of two. I would definitely buy these again though, as they really are black out drapes and I am very happy with my purchase.

Blackout curtains to the rescue in Arizona

Would not change anything about these curtains. Needed a replacement blackout curtain from our previous ones becoming soiled, and not wanting to pay a hefty cost to professionally clean them. So decided, why not purchase new ones with a discount and couldn’t be happier that we did! Absolutely love the teal color with our decor—as true to color as it was in the Bed Bath & Beyond photos; and the quality is beyond what I expected. The blackout backing does not look tacky, even viewing the curtains drawn from the street and the back of our home. Again, couldn’t be more pleased and so satisfied that I’m now looking for more replacement items for our home from your distributor.

I bought these for my son’s room and wanted it to feel like a “boy room” without being too stripe overwhelming. I think the off white and the blue in these are good for someone who wants a more muted version than the super bright white and bold navy blue. They feel like good quality and seem to do well at room darkening. Included pic of them at night with lighting and then during the day with no lights on and sun shining through (shows darker shadowing bc we have one big window and then a custom arched one above it)

The light flowy pattern on these curtains is perfect. The gradual ombre pattern gives you the benefit of a sheer curtain while still having dimension and a pop of color. I ordered the lavender color but the color is more maroon than a traditional lavender, but is still beautiful and perfect for the intended space. Close But Polyester Kills the Effect

I purchased these around four years ago for **. They are reminiscent of the late 19th century... sort of. While the design is somewhat akin to back then, it isn't quite as accurate as you would like. I've looked at many antique catalogs containing countless lace curtains from that era and the word "close" is about all I can give them. As another reviewer mentioned, it would have been better had these been made from cotton or some other natural material other than polyester. I've yet to see anything like this made with polyester pass for the real thing. Whether far away or near, it shows. You can buy actual cotton thread and linen lace sheers, but they are very costly. In this size they can range from $* to $* or more per panel. None are made ****. They are available via the internet from ****, ****, and ****. I'll be replacing mine with those soon.

I love the way the light filters through these curtains. It provides great natural light to our living space while still maintaining decent privacy. They are so easy to put up and slide on the curtain rod. Also, they came unwrinkled! The fabric catches light making it look like there is a squiggly lines patterned. It doesn’t bother me but it is fairly obvious it is there. These curtains were a great addition to making our older home feel modern, airy and fresh!

I was a little worried about the dots since they're dimensional but I realized I'm not pulling on the curtains or walking by them often that will make them come off. It's thicker material which I like and color is as depicted in the images. I'll be buying the other pair to match in my room. Country French Bedroom

I ordered the chambray blue and it is a pretty, kind of gray-blue color for my master bedroom. Going for a "Country/French" type mood, so this curtain works quit well. The checks are larger than I expected so almost thought about returning, but its difficult to find a black out check curtain so decided to keep. It has grown on me and does a good job of blackout. I would recommend but just know the checks are 3 inch by 3 inch squares.

These linen curtains are better than we expected!! They’re sheer enough to let some sun in but have enough coverage for privacy (used them for our french doors). The color is a nice sandy neutral and goes very well with our decor. Only drawback is having to steam/iron them because they came very wrinkled, but this is to expected with linen. Overall, god buy!

Long lasting and beautiful.

Wonderful curtains. I live in Las Vegas and my original dark blue Deconovo blackout drapes finally faded--but only on the back of the drapes: The fading didn't show in the bedroom. These curtains were exposed to full sun all day long and the windows are large. The curtains were about ten years old. I was impressed! I replaced them with the same kind of curtain. The material is medium heavy and satiny---without the sheen. They are incredible; I was so happy to find them again. Yes, they really block out the light completely.

Very difficult assembly and instructions suck

Holy cow this thing is a beast to put together. A total pain in the butt, and a lot of the pieces were bent, which didn’t make it any easier. It took over eight hours total over the weekend. It would really be helpful if they put YouTube videos up like a lot of the other awning companies do. Now that it’s up, I think it will be a good addition but time will tell if it holds up. It’s not as sturdy as I was hoping.

Beautiful, perfect fit, excellent price!

I love these curtains! The fabric is really nice, they are very easy to hang and they are beautiful! As one would expect, they were wrinkled when they arrived. I briefly thought of ironing them and instead took the lazy option of just hanging them. The wrinkles disappeared in a couple of days - obviously they are very low maintenance. I like them so much that I bought another set to hang in a different room. I am very, very happy with this purchase!

Very pretty. Color was true to pictures in the listing. These are only striped on one side, so had to purchase double the quantity and put two panels on the same curtain rod back to back to get the look I wanted. They are not a high end outdoor sunbrella type fabric, but have held up for a few months so far in hot FL sun surrounding a lanai.

Beautiful Look and Feel

Just like the other reviews said, these curtains are BEAUTIFUL. I am a professional fuss-budget and these curtain pass inspection with flying colors. Great fabric and color, very substantial “feel.” They really make a great statement in my LR which has a mid-century vibe. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! PS-You will see old and new curtains in the pic. I adored my old curtains but honestly, these are great!

Nice looking AND do the job as intended.

Since I live in a 4 season climate and all the extreme temps that go with it, thermal curtains are a must. These are great insulating curtains, and my windows are old and leaky, so the difference is remarkable. They are easy care and look more expensive than they were. I highly recommend these thermal blackout curtains.
