Crystal Palace have beaten Tottenham to the signing of highly-rated Derby winger Malcolm Ebiowei.

Ebiowei is due to join Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace side ahead of next season
But the Eagles have completed a significant coup by securing a deal to sign the teenager, who will finalise his move to Selhurst Park on Friday.
Manchester United had been heavily linked with a move for Ebiowei, but while the Old Trafford did express an interest in the youngster, who has represented England and Holland at junior level, they are understood to have not fully pursued a move.
Indeed, Spurs were Palace's main rivals for the player who made 15 appearances for Derby last season. French club Monaco were also interested.

The Eagles are hopeful of reaching an agreement for the 22-year-old but no deal is close amid rival interest in the Doucoure.
