Great English breakfast!!!
Oh.....and the pints aren't so bad either..Bangers And Mash. King Fish And Chips. Shepherds Pie. Scotch Egg.
All great stuff.

The food's really good, I had the "Chicken Curry" (I love curries so...)
My friends had a few other dishes like the "Shepherds Pie" (I'm getting that next time! lol) and other traditional British fare like "Fish and Chips"
They have a fully, well stocked wet bar too.
The interior is that of a British Pub (I can't believe I said that! lol)
The service is amazing! (Thanks Michael!)
Expect to pay $$ for dinner and a little more for drinks, tax and tip.
Parking is decent, as they are in a strip mall setting with shared parking.
Check their menu as they have ALL the Renaissance-Faire Old English offerings).
For me, I've gotta have a Guinness Stout with my meals. Have them make you a "Black & Tan" yum.
They've been there a long time, so why the heck haven't I been here sooner?
You may like the "Bangers & Mash (sausage and mashed potatoes)" or the "Lemon Garlic Cod" and other cockney favorites!
Heck, you might even start saying things like "Cheerio, Pip-pip, and refer to your friends as "blokes"
Either way, it's definitely worth a try!

We went here for the first time last weekend. Service was very attentive and friendly. We tried the Cornish pasty, fish and chips and shepherds pie. Food was great - totally took us back to the dinners we ate in England. (Definitely in the heavy/comfort food category but thats what British pub food is like!) Fairly large menu with lots of options. Would return.

We had never heard of this restaurant but was going to a concert at the civic center and thought we would give it a try.  Had the shepherds pie, it was delicious!  My husband had the fish and chips which he thought was pretty tasty!    The rhubarb crumble with custard was yummy!  The service was very good as well.

The Crown & Anchor is a Thousand Oaks hidden gem that's tucked in off of Skyline Drive and Thousand Oaks Blvd. It's been in the neighborhood for several years and it's the place to go if you are in the mood for some English faire.

Whether you are looking to drink, eat or both, they have you covered. Their full bar has all your favorite poisons, as well as a variety of British/U.K. Imported beers that may or may not entice you to start speaking like a Brit.

Their menu has pub specialties and favorites, I personally recommend the King Fish n Chips or the Shepherds Pie.

They have a variety of items that you would traditionally see on a menu while in England, but if you want that American Burger, don't worry they have that for you too.

There is a bar area for 21+ as well as the restaurant portion of the restaurant that's family friendly. If you feel like sitting outside and having a drink, come join the party.

This is a great place to watch sports, have a drink or two and/or enjoy a nice meal with family and friends. It's a very well themed restaurant/pub and It will make you feel like you are in a pub in downtown London.

Delish!  Most of our party had fish and chips, smelled and looked wonderful.  A pastie, steak and mushrooms pie, shepherds pie and Sunday roast dinner.  Come on in and have a beer and eats!  Looking now at dessert.  Rhubarb crumble with cream or custard.

Stopped by on a Friday night for some grub and some live music. What a great scene at Crown and Anchor!

Roadside Shoes was playing some great classic rock hits and had the crowd really engaged. It was a perfect fit for the Friday night crowd looking to get the weekend started off on the right note. There was plenty of seating in the bar area along with outdoor seating where you could still hear the music. Service throughout the night was friendly and very attentive.

While we were enjoying the live music we decided to eat as well. Since we were here we had to try some British faire so we went with the Shepherds Pie. We were pleasantly surprised with the entire plate of mashed potatoes, veggies, beef, and gravy. Very tasty piping hot when it arrived. Highly recommend it!

Overall Crown and Anchor is a great place for food and fun. Even if you're only there for the food there seems to be a separate area just for dining. The entire restaurant is clean and well kept. We definitely plan on returning soon especially if Roadside Shoes is playing again!

I was born and raised in England, so I know good British food when I taste it, and this place had some of the most delicious Yorkshire Puddings I've had in a long time! We got 3 of them  as an appetizer, along with a Scotch Egg, and they were a great way to start the meal.  For entrees, my husband got the Full English Breakfast, I ordered the Fish & Chips and my brother-in-law got the Shepherds Pie, all of which were delicious. The ambiance is great - felt very much like a pub back home in England. And our server was lovely. We'll definitely be back to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

I have three words for you: Navajo Chicken Sandwich.

Order it with a side of extra sauce to dip your fries in.

They offer several UK dishes too, and they are quite authentic. Shepherds Pie, Bangers and Mash, Smashed Peas.

Great staff, good food, decent beer selection, plenty of parking. What more do you want in a pub?
