Cult of Personality #34 - Robert Loggia
Couldn't ever find the right mood to watch any of the reasonable choices for Loggia's catalogue, so I decided to let my stoned, morbid curiosity get the best of me and dive into the world of anti-choice propaganda. It did not go well. This is the result:
Major spoilers ahead.

There's 20 minutes left right now and I am to the point of wishing I was aborted. This will now be a live review...
For context this is a movie that centers around the hero of our story: a woman slowly covincing an entire jury that a group of people who kidnapped a woman at an abortion clinic and imprisoned her for…
I would’ve given this 0 stars if I could. How a movie can be both aggravating and boring at the same time baffles me. Super cool of them to completely disregard kidnapping to instead debate abortion by using religious beliefs and emotional manipulation as evidence. Ending was super dumb and random. I hope you enjoy Perfect Blue Terk, cuz damn I made an awful deal.
Like Twelve Angry Men but if the script was adapted from a manifesto written in blood and semen and found in a mass shooter’s basement.
The premise alone is so deranged that it has to be seen to be believed. Basically, using reused footage from another movie that also looks like it would be an argument in favor of never inventing cameras, the film reveals to us that a group of psychopathic cultists kidnapped women who wanted abortions and forced them to give birth. Given that the criminals recorded all of this, it should be an open shut case.
But there’s a problem: this movie comes from the types of guys who get off to fantasizing about women giving birth.…
12 Angry Men for abortion is quite the film. Worth it entirely for the ending and opening. Insane movie. You will not be disappointed.
I understand pro lifers are pretty dumb, but they must have known they could've made a pro-life propaganda movie without making it pro-kidnapping, right? Like they very easily could've made a version of this movie that doesn't revolve around justifying kidnapping and manipulating women but they decided to go down that route.
Insane ending
First off, the poster on here kills me every time I see it. But, I could not bring myself to finish this movie. I just think the premise behind it leads to me thinking that it can't have a genuine discussion on the topic of abortion. And I can't believe I have to say this but kidnapping someone and holding them against their will for seven months until they give birth is wrong regardless of your opinions of abortion.
Well here we go. Cries Of The Unborn is easily the worst movie, I have seen in a long time. It's 12 people sitting in a room and angrily decide about how bad it is to abort a baby, never really caring about the case they are supposed to decide on. I honestly detest everything about this piece of shit.
I can accept religious movies, as long as they don't try to force their message onto you and literally call you evil for not believing in something, but this is of course the other kind of that crap. It shouldn't be a question if the kidnappers are guilty for kidnapping a woman for 7 months and forcing her to give birth to her kids, even though she wanted an abortion. Everything who'd think about calling those people "Not guilty" should just be sued as well and don't deserve to tell their message to anyone.
I absolutely hate this.
Look away for I am about to curse.
This movie can go torture-fuck itself with a splintery rake -- it's already so far up its own ass anyway, a little dp action would hardly make a dent.
Here's a solid pro-choice argument: This slab of ripe, hardened puke right here. First trimester, second, right before its birth, I don't give a shit, the reality is It should have been aborted.
I award this No Stars, a Golden Fuck You, 2 Middle Fingers, and 3 Rusty Wire Hangers.
And, they wishin' and wishin' and wishin' and wishin'
They wishin' on me, yeah
I been movin' calm, don't start no trouble with me
Tryna keep it peaceful is a struggle for me
Don't pull up at 6 AM to cuddle with me
You know how I like it when you lovin' on me
I don't wanna die for them to miss me
Yes, I see the things that they wishin' on me
Hope I got some brothers that outlive me
They gon' tell the story, shit was different with me
God's plan, God's plan
I hold back, sometimes I won't, yeah
I feel good, sometimes I don't, ayy, don't
I finessed down Weston Road, ayy, 'nessed
Might go down…
