Likely died in development. It’s been 3 years since it was announced and radio silence.

I read an interview from Yahoo Entertainment with Craig Robinson dated March 4th, 2022, where he states that:

"Super High, I think they’re doing a re-write on it now, as far as boosting up the action and things like that. Just doing another pass. Not changing it too much, but it is an action hero movie. But it’s definitely still going. We’re gonna do that this year. Later on this year. There are three of us, Andy Samberg, Common, and myself — we’re three friends that grew up making music together. And we had a hit back in the day, and here we are in the present day, where we find this mysterious kind of weed that gives you superpowers. So we connect all that, the best way we can."

I’ve never heard of this but now I need to see it. Those two had the best chemistry on 99.

The Doug Judy episodes were always a treat.

I think you mean Jake Peralta and Doug Judy.

No, obviously not. Is simply referencing their other characters supposed to qualify as a joke now?

Andy Samberg has an amazing talent for playing characters more annoying than himself.

That's not really true at all, and their success is well documented because they got big online before being hired by SNL, so it's not like how they got famous is a secret. Yeah you might need money from your parents to follow music, acting or comedy but it's not like those guys didn't get there without talent or luck

It still says it’s “In Development” on IMDB, if that’s worth anything.
