Arsenal have been handed a huge boost ahead of their trip to Molineux on Saturday, as they look to ensure a win against Wolves to keep their title hopes alive.
After a 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa last time out in the Premier League, and UEFA Champions League elimination during the week against Bayern Munich, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be keen to bounce back against Wolves – and has been given a huge boost in doing so.
Wolves’ manager, Gary O’Neil, has revealed that the Wanderers could be without as many as six first-team players who would otherwise have likely started against the Gunners on Saturday.

Matheus Cunha (knee), Pedro Neto (hamstring), Craig Dawson (groin), Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (knee), Nelson Semedo (calf) and Noah Lemina (hamstring) are all expected to miss the game, which comes as a massive blow to Wolves, whose injury crisis hits new heights.
This is coupled with the fact that star forward Hwang Hee-chan is also expected to be limited to 45 minutes of action against the Gunners, while prize defender Rayan Aït Nouri may only be deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.
Speaking ahead of the game, O’Neil joked: “One player is happy as he got to miss Science to train with us today,” in reference to a schoolboy academy player who is expected to be called into the Wolves senior squad for tomorrow’s game, which highlights exactly how severe the issue is for the West Midlands outfit.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have no notable injury concerns, with Arteta revealing that he has a fully fit squad at his disposal, aside from Jurrien Timber, who is set to feature for the U21s on Monday during his road to recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Gunners fans will be desperate to see their side take three points at Molineux, as they look to keep the pressure on league leaders Manchester City, though many have already lost hope that they could clinch the Premier League title this season.
