I enjoy the diversity of the school, I feel like I can connect with at least one person because of how many different types of people there are and I feel as if that is a huge positive. The sports programs are also very good, most of our teams consistently make regionals and are in contention for being best in the district every year. Most of the teachers are good too. They are relatable and understanding to the students and seem as if they enjoy teaching with leaves a positive effect on the students. However, administration could do a better job at times. It feels as if they are against the students at times and have questionable policies that do no please students or teachers. Overall I enjoyed my time here and will look back on it fondly.
I enjoyed my time at Courtland High School. I made many friends and had a fantastic time in the marching band. The worst part I experienced would probably be the administration misplacing some of my credits from my previous school. Only when my parents went to the school did they find those missing credits. Many fights occurred on campus, which were difficult for me to avoid when getting to my next class. I enjoyed going to the football games with the marching band. My favorite memories from Courtland would be going to prom with my friends and making new memories with people I haven't known since kindergarten. I was able to experience something different from my previous school.
It was honestly pretty fun, and I do miss it. But since going to collage I realized how bad it was there sometimes. We have so much more freedom in collage then in high school. Academic wise, We had a lot of different programs and we had a Career and Tech Center right next to our school, which opened up a lot of different opportunities.
