I asked for this album for my 10th birthday. I still have it! I still like about 2/3 of the songs. Some took decades to "grow on me." More I simply left behind.

My version of this set the sides are numbered 1-8 not A-H. Audio still sounds great after all these years.

The sound of the vinyl is amazing. Great songs too.

I found this after finding the Warner special production "Heavy Metal Volume 2" and after searching for volume 1 this is what came up. Having heard the quality on the second volume I gambled on one of these. The fidelity in this is great for a combo.

Outstanding! It is like listening to FM Radio in 1972. One monster hit after another. No bubblegum! Rock on.

The title is a bit of a misnomer since quite a few of the songs are from the '60s, but overall it's a good collection of music, with very good audio quality.
