What a delight. Had a stroll and a sit on a boiling hot day. Loads of benches under huge range of mature trees kept us cool while we sat with our lunch and a book.
Some of the benches are libraries where books have been left.
The parc typifies Coulommiers. Relaxed and surprising.
Loads of ducks, swans and moor hens. But the bad news - there are also Canada geese. They have decimated parts of York in the UK. Get rid now before they take over.

Found only due to mention on trip advisor. I couldn't find a dedicated website. Renovated and maintained by volunteers , this is not a flashy attraction. We were welcomed by a single volunteer late one Monday afternoon who gave us the run of the place and was most informative about the garden renovations and the building. Not clear when it is open apart from weekends . Lots of historical explanations but principally in French. Never come across a commanderie before in all my visits to France.

This outside circuit has a good mix of straights and wide and tight turns, and is a decent length. The karts we used all worked well. Though we started with the lower power karts it is possible to hire higher powered karts - once you have demonstrated good sense on the lower powered ones. The lower powered Ines are still quick, and will prove testing. It's best to go in a large group of you can, to get the best experience of racing.
Helmets, liners and overalls are provided, and are in good repair and decent quality, which is not something we've experienced at all circuits.
A good half day for petrolheads.
Check prices and availability before you go to avoid disappointment. This is a professional venue, and is prices accordingly.
