Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Next week's Coronation Street will see Daisy face Justin in court, while Paul struggles ahead of Gemma and Chesney's wedding. Meanwhile, Evelyn discovers Roy's true feelings for her.
Here's a look at 11 big moments hitting your screens.
1. Ryan's actions threaten the trial
Daisy is touched when Justin's sister Karen pays her a visit and reveals that she hopes her brother will serve time for what he did.
However, Carla and Ryan are less than impressed to see Karen and it's not long before a row breaks out between everyone. Ryan makes a dig about Daisy's attempts to split him up from Alya and the comment doesn't go unnoticed by Karen.
2. Ryan refuses to attend court
Ahead of the court hearing, Ryan is horrified to learn that Karen has told Justin's lawyer all about Daisy's manipulative actions from 2021.
Realising he's put everything into jeopardy, Ryan can't face court. When he fails to turn up, Carla desperately tries to get in touch with him.
Daisy tracks Ryan down and is shocked to learn that Karen betrayed her. She begs Ryan to testify and help her send Justin down, but Ryan refuses Daisy and Daniel's pleas to attend. Daisy crumbles without his support.
3. Daisy takes the stand
At court, Daniel takes the witness box and tells the court about Justin's relentless stalking of Daisy prior to the acid attack.
Meanwhile, Carla catches Daisy about to do a runner and provides some much-needed support. She reminds Daisy that she can't let Justin control her.
After the defence barrister has finished grilling Daniel and makes out that Daisy is highly strung and unreliable, Daisy enters the witness box.
4. Daisy and Ryan are stunned by events in court
Having had a change of heart, Ryan makes it to court and gives an account of the traumatic experience he's suffered at Justin's hands.
As the defence barrister cross examines Ryan, he's left horrified when the barrister presents a narrative that Ryan is in love with Daisy and that they plotted the acid attack themselves.
Later, Justin enters the witness box to give his version of events.
5. Paul and Gemma reconcile
Ahead of Gemma and Chesney's wedding, Billy tries to convince Paul to attend but he's having none of it.
When Paul learns from Joseph that Gemma is still upset about their argument last week, Paul apologises to Gemma, and they put the past behind them.
6. Gemma and Chesney get married
With Paul and Gemma back on good terms, Gemma and Chesney's wedding takes place. Paul walks Gemma down the aisle but struggles to mask his symptoms.
The congregation celebrate as Gemma and Chesney exchange their vows. Just when it seems like nothing can go wrong, Bernie discovers that Linda secretly funded the wedding.
7. Gemma suspects Paul is hiding the truth
With tensions flaring between Bernie and Linda, Paul tries to defuse the situation by giving a speech but is soon overcome with emotion.
Paul makes a hasty exit but Gemma clocks that he's having trouble walking.
The wedding celebrations continue as Gemma and Chesney share their first dance, and Gemma drags Paul up for a duet. Despite his condition, Paul makes the decision to enjoy life while he can.
8. It's the moment of truth for Paul
Paul prepares for his latest visit to the MND specialist where he'll learn if he's suitable for the special drug treatment. Hoping that the drug could be the answer to his prayers, Paul attends the meeting with Billy for support.
In the aftermath of the meeting, Paul and Billy prepare for their caravan holiday together. Billy borrows the church minibus for the occasion, and their friends and family gather to wave them off.
9. Freddie goes missing
After Freddie goes in for his operation, Nina confides in Evelyn that Roy has started sleepwalking again and suspects it's due to worry about his own upcoming operation.
Later, after another incident of sleepwalking, Roy realises he left the café door open, and Freddie has escaped. Roy, Nina and Evelyn start a search party to find him.
10. Roy goes under the knife
Ahead of his operation, Roy gives Evelyn a stack of letters to distribute in the event of his death. Curious about Roy's letters, Evelyn finds the one intended for her and is desperate to know the contents.
Later, Evelyn holds Roy's hands and wishes him luck as he's taken away for his operation.
11. Evelyn learns of Roy's true feelings
Evelyn's curiosity gets the better of her and she can't resist opening Roy's letter. She's moved to discover how much she means to him.
Evelyn decides to seize the moment and heads to the hospital to confess her own feelings, but bites her tongue when she finds Yasmeen at Roy's bedside with a special gift for him.
