The Control Fruit is a Mythical Natural-type Blox Fruit, that costs MoneyIcon 3,200,000 or RobuxIcon 2,500 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Control has a unique moveset compared to other fruits, as it is capable of creating a circular area which lasts around 55 seconds using the [Z] move. The user can only use Control's moves in that specific area, and the size of said zone depends upon how long the [Z] move is held. The area also substantially buffs the Koko sword inside the area. However, outside of said area, the Control fruit is effectively useless as the player can't use any of its moves outside of the area.

Control is considered as a very bad fruit for activities like Sea Beast hunts, as none of its moves can damage them, but it can be decent for grinding if the player spams the [X] move due to its cooldown being very low (around 2 seconds), which can also be useful for First Sea or early Second Sea grinding. However, Control requires high mastery which makes it hard to unlock all the moves, especially in the First Sea.

Overview

Pros
General
  • Very versatile, as this fruit is good for every stat build such as fruit mains, sword mains, and even gun mains. This is due to its great stuns, mobility, and high combo potential.
  • Moves deal decent to great damage.
  • Good value in trading.
[Z] Control Area
  • No end-lag.
  • Increases Koko range (Z attack is increased slightly and X attack is increased based on the range of the room).
[X] Levitate
  • The range depends on how large the room is, giving it an absolutely enormous range.
  • Good damage, stun and AoE.
  • No end-lag.
  • The lowest [X] move cooldown in the entire game.
[C] Echo Knife
  • High stun.
  • High damage.
  • Has a massive vertical hitbox.
  • While attacking the target, the user gains I-frames immunity to all damage up to the last slash.
  • This move usually cause temporary "lag" to the target, which can lead into a good combo.
  • Drains a lot of instinct dodges (3-5) if the opponent holds it through the entirety of the move.
  • Low end-lag. (About 1 second if missed)
[V] Gamma Rush
  • The range depends on how large the room is.
  • Insane damage.
  • High stun.
  • Great move for grinding and crowd control.
    • Pretty good for teamers because of its great stun and hitbox.
  • Gives user the I-frames immunity to all damage.
  • Low end-lag if missed.
[F] Teleport
  • Can be used to initiate surprise attacks and combos as the user can teleport behind their targets.
  • Very short cooldown.

Cons
General
  • Extremely high mastery requirements. (Control's mastery is tied with Dragon's and Spirit's as the highest Blox Fruit mastery)
  • Attacks can only be used inside of the Area, causing this fruit to be easily avoided by simply exiting the area.
  • The user is vulnerable while putting up an Area.
  • Requires some aim and precision.
  • Possibly the worst fruit for Sea Beast hunting, as none of the moves can hit Sea Beasts except for Levitate, which is nearly impossible to hit in itself.
[Z] Control Area
  • The area only lasts less than 1 minute, making it a bit annoying for the user who has to activate it continuously during long battles.
  • Due to the Area's size and noise, it's hard to successfully pull off surprise attacks.
[X] Levitate
  • High knockback.
  • Despite its very long range, this move's flying objects are relatively slow.
[C] Echo Knife
  • Single target.
  • Can leave the user vulnerable after the move is completed if they are fighting more than one person.
[V] Gamma Rush
  • Using while in the air will not freeze the user in place like most moves, with it instead making the user's physical avatar fall down. Due to this, they can easily fall into the ocean or lava and die while trying to use Gamma Rush while over a body of water/lava.
[F] Teleport
  • Teleport can only be used on something solid, making the user unable to teleport into the air.

It is not recommended to get this fruit while low level, as it has very high mastery requirements.
The Gamma Rush move has a high mastery requirement (350), so it is recommended to use Cyborg (race) (V4) when getting mastery for it.
If the user uses Teleport while their cursor is focused on an enemy NPC/Player, the user will teleport behind the enemy a few studs away.
The above trick is handy for when your target is stuck in place, e.g. while casting the Dark, Rumble, or Flame V move.
The user is vulnerable while putting up an Area.
Using Control requires a lot of prediction. If the user predicts that an enemy is going to get close and rush them, a quick Gamma Rush can be used, and it'll most likely hit the enemy easily.
Gamma Rush can be used at the edge of an Area, and the Area will move in order to be centered on the hit enemy.
Levitate has a really low cooldown. This can be combined with gear such as the Zebra Cap / Choppa, and the Ghoul (race)'s V3 ability to lower the cooldown even further, effectively making the user able to spam it.
The heavy knockback from Levitate can be nullified with a stun move, such as Soul Cane's Soul Beam, Shisui's True Quiet Rush, or even Control’s Echo Knife.

It is used by the Raid Boss, Order in-game.
Control is the only fruit that has 2 icons. The other icon can be shown in the inventory when the Control Area move is activated, instead of its usual blue, it will be green.
If the user holds down Z to make an Area while in the air, they can stay mid-air for a short while.
If the user hold Gamma Rush (V) for 10~13 seconds, they can move while holding the move and use it outside of your control area. Despite this, it is not recommended to abuse this glitch as it can get the player banned.
This is one of the fruits that needs to use a Z move before being able to use the other moves, others being Buddha, Falcon and Diamond.
This is seen as a trolling fruit, because of its ability to levitate Boats though it is unable to levitate a Ship Raid's boats.
Control and Buddha are the only fruits that buffs weapons.
The C Move makes the user hold out a purple/blue-ish sword and V Move makes the user hold out a green-ish sword that correspond to their slashes respectively.
This fruit has very high mastery requirement for the V move for a fruit alongside Dragon and Spirit, which is 350.
Control is seen by the community as a fun fruit to use.
Using the Control Z move and holding it can allow the user to levitate briefly.
Using the Control X move and holding it below a boss would cause the boss to be stuck on the boulder that is held until it is being released.
There is a bug where the user can increase the damage V move slightly by holding a weapon with a higher mastery than the Control. This is not necessary if the Control's mastery has reached 600.
The Control Z move used to last for 35 seconds.
Control V move used to shrink the Control Area to its minimum size and the area disappears immediately after the move finished, if the V move does not hit anyone, the Control Area still disappears immediately after that.
