What other reviews have left out is the jab at David Carradine, the ‘star’ of the 1970s TV show Kung Fu. A man with absolutely no martial arts skills, but was a trained dancer. He got the role, one that Bruce Lee saw himself playing when he came up with the concept, because the studio/producers didn’t think a show with an Asian leading character would sell.
It did poke fun at other well known martial arts action stars, listed in other reviews, with fairly extensive martial arts backgrounds. What really made this movie for me was the cameo appearances by the actors who really sold this mockumentry. A fun movie for a night to relax, laugh, and enjoy a big bowl of popcorn.
