This box set appears to use the same digital masters from the earlier Repertoire reissues. Volume 3 and Shame Just Drained on this box have the same bad mastering and flutter issues that were on the Rep cd's. The absence of the Friends lp and its great bonus tracks is a glaring omission. This box is an overall great value but has its flaws.

i cant be 100% sure but i think it may be safe to say this 6 cd box set covers EVERYTHING the easybeats recorded between 1965 and 1969 including radio jingles the band did for coke on austtralian radio kind of like the who did in the uk in 1966 around the same time, you get a few different mixes of some songs, all the hits and all the nuggets and fillers as well, sadly outside of oz the easybeats did not get noticed back in the 60s like they should have, had they ever been from the uk they would have been huge like the beatles, dave clark five etc etc etc, i bought this great 6 cd box set years ago when it was released, to keep my copy in the best shape i burned the cds to cdrs and never get tired of spinning these timeless tunes, these guys where the biggest band in australia back in the 60s.................... the box is rather thin made cardboard and this comes with a decent booklet as well..........
