Roy Harper & Black Sheep – Commercial Breaks

'Commercial Breaks' was a "lost" Roy Harper album, recorded in 1978 and intended for release by Harvest in 1979 but that didn't go beyond the test pressing stage. At the last minute, Roy Harper decided to shelve the whole project, being unhappy with the album : "I thought that I could have done so much better with more time. There were so many gaps in it... Shit... I hated it".
However ten years later in 1988, a slightly different selection of songs from the 'Commercial Break' sessions were released on the album Loony On The Bus by the indie label Awareness Records, but apparently without Harper's prior approval (he claims he's been 'bootlegged' and did not receive any royalties).
It was only in 1994, when Harper regained the rights to all his recordings and set up his own label Science Friction, that he decided to finally release 'Commercial Break' officially with its original title and tracklist.
