Just found out I had a chemical pregnancy and my doctor wants me to stop my meds tonight. To those of you unfortunate enough to go through a CP or failed implantation: How long after you stopped taking your medications did your period come?

Typically 5 days for me. I’ve had a failed implantation, chemical and an ERA cycle.
Thank you. Did your ERA cycle tell you anything?
The ERA, Emma/Alice and Receptivadx tests came back normal. We also did a surgical Hysteroscopy which showed a small uterine septum. After that was fixed, our 3rd FET worked perfectly.
Oh wow interesting!! Did you do an SIS prior to your first transfer, and it didn’t show the uterine septum? I am so frustrated with this CP. I just wish I had an answer. I had an SIS done and my doctor said my uterus was beautiful but now I wonder if there’s something they can’t see that needs to be looked into a bit better.
I had a SIS and an in office Hysteroscopy in additional to the normal tests before doing any transfers and all the testing missed the septum completely. After the first 2 FETs my Dr suggested the surgical one to offer a better view and see if anything was missed. I’m so thankful he did!

4 days. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I had a CP my first fet too.
It’s awful. It was the first time I saw a positive on a pregnancy test but I knew something was wrong because the line was super faint. Sorry you had to go through the same thing.
After my FET that ended in CP, it took 7 days after I stopped the meds.
Mine was 7 days too after my chemical pregnancy, tho my hcg went down, then up and then down again weirdly.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. I don’t remember how long it took for my period to come back, but another thing that’s annoying is waiting for hcg to drop to 0 bc they can’t do another cycle before then. My hcg was 189 at its highest before it started dropping and took it almost 3 weeks to go to 0. The higher your beta the longer it’ll take.
The highest my beta got was 86.7… As of today it dropped down to 59.

My first fet was implantation failure. It took 2 days for me to get my period.
I stopped all meds on Monday. Got my period today (Friday). Sending you hugs... I saw someone describe this as a 20,000 period 😭
I believe like 4 days. It was way heavier than usual and I took a few days to work from home because of it

No advice as this is my first chemical too but also just had mine confirmed yesterday after beta 2. They’re still tracking my levels into next week but it was a natural cycle transfer with supplemental progesterone so I stopped that as of yesterday (so last shot was Thursday) and now we wait. Sorry you’re going through this too.
