This Sandie Shaw compilation hit me between the eyes when I put it on. The clarity of the music on this disc is exceptional. You can almost see Miss Shaw in front of you,and the music never sounded better. At first I though I had all these songs-but...they never sounded better!
The recent U.S.A. Petula Clark's greatest hits also sounded supreme!
Buy this cd . I'm very happy I did. Simply the best from the sensual and sexy Sandie Shaw!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sandie Shaw Collection - simply her best

This CD is made up if lesser-known recordings from the amazing and beautiful Scarborough Fair and the quirkier Dont You Count On It as well as Sandie's excellent very original reading of Reviewing the Situation and her unique interpretations of standards such as When I fall In Love, Those Were the Days and Baby I Need Your Loving. There are also many foreign language versions which showcase Sandie's many vocal talents.
For anyone wanting to complement a CD of Sandie's more famous recordings or anyone just wanting to hear one of Britian's top singers at her best - this is a great CD.
