My husband and I traveled to Colima with our 2 teenagers and 2 young children and booked our all day tour with Jupiter. We all had a fantastic day enjoying the area and learning so much from Jupiter about Colama and the volcano. Even our 7 year old kid was entertained all day!!! Admire Mexico Tours gets 5 stars!!!

There are many options for tours to and around this volcano, including hikes, bikes, ATV, and some good camping options as well...The scenery around here is beautiful

We were told it was closed because of the earthquake but it is open. Nice on the corner of the city plaza. Worth peeking in to see.

Nice place to go and have some fun if you have kids, otherwise it’s just a park without much to see except for the “Rock”.
There are plenty of kids running around and sliding down the rock and the slides.
It’s located close to downtown, behind a big Walmart supermarket.

This place is very accessible, not crowded at all. you must bring hat or umbrella and your own water that you'll need. The family there caretaking at the moment had their son there and we asked him to be our guide. Hector even tried to read the signs in nahuatl, very cute.

it is remote, no hotel but it is wide open. i am not a surfer but most people who are there are surfers. be careful of currents. take your own food. it is near the faro (lighthouse) beach near Tecoman on highway 200. need to get a taxi from main road 50p. it is laid back. mosltly camping. relax and enjoy.

Sitting on the corner of the main square the museum is easy to find, and small enough that it is well worth the walk through to see some of the local history. Some nice displays even though it is a little museum.

Here in early January and there isn't much water right now. Still a beautiful short walk and you can climb around on the rocks or just chill there. It's completely silent - no city noise - and makes for a serene place to just sit in nature. I imagine in the rainy season there's a big waterfall and the little swimming holes probably fill up

This is an interesting museum, housed in a nice building in the centre of Colima. We had a guide with us which was useful as he was able to explain the displays to us which was useful. If you are interested in history it is worth a visit, the displays are in Spanish.

Impressive building. They are working on the exterior. Hope to see it completed on my next visit. Many shops nearby for any needs.

This is a pleasant garden in the centre of Colima, there are several garden benches and a little bandstand in the centre. It is surrounded by some impressive buildings including an hotel, cathedral and museum.
Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.
