Rose Bruford College

Rose Bruford College is a drama school based in attractive grounds near Sidcup, Kent, on the outskirts of south-east London. Founded in 1950, the college pioneered the first acting degree in 1976. It offers a range of honours degree courses in theatre and performance, validated by the University of Manchester. Facilities include two theatres - the 330-seat Rose, a theatre in the round, and the end-stage Barn Theatre - plus studios for rehearsals, design, lectures, teachings and recording, plus lighting design labs and a workshop complex.

Fees

Currently £3,070 for full-time undergraduate courses.

Bursaries

Eligible students can apply for a bursary of around £300 from the college. Other awards are also available.

Accommodation

There are limited places available for first years in university owned accommodation at a price of around £85 a week.

Facilities

There's an extensive library, including impressive specialist collections. Unsurprisingly, facilities for performance are good.
