Gabrielle Chanel cultivated the art of paradox. The woman behind an understated, pared-down style that revolutionized women’s fashion was equally fond of the baroque, which inspired the decor of her apartment on rue Cambon and her Byzantine jewelry collections.

COCO expresses the intensity of Mademoiselle’s personality. A mysterious, provocative ambery scent that gradually reveals its contrasting notes.

COMPOSITION

The fragrance opens with a citrus note of Sicilian mandarin and reveals a voluptuous heart of jasmine absolute, heightened with touches of ylang-ylang from the Comoros and Tunisian orange blossom. A captivating harmony possessing an enveloping trail tinged with Indonesian patchouli, benzoin and tonka.

We have been buying Coco for over 30 years. Strangely, this last bottle was a different color (pinkish tinge, rather than yellowish), and the scent, although pleasant, was weaker than previously and faded really quickly. Maybe the formulation has changed?

I was delighted to receive my Coco Chanel! The scent was slightly different this time, but very similar and even better in my opinion. The color was different as well with a slight rose tint. It arrived quickly and in the same usual Chanel packaging that always feels like a party when I open it!

The perfume was a gift, it was beautifully packaged and was wonderful. The only issue was there should have been 3 samples and 2 were included but the third coco sample was not. If there is anyway you can send the sample I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you !

I've got to say, that if I had known that the formulary had changed in the making of "Coco", I would not have purchased this product. Many years ago, I received a small amount of "Coco" that was my mother in law's, as she had passed. I loved the perfume on her, and relished what was given to me. It finally ran out, and so I decided to purchase some. In getting my bottle of "Coco", I was disappointed at the first smell. It. Is. Not. The. Same. I hate to say it, but it has some overtones of an Avon product. It smells nice, but not like the original "Coco" that I smelled on Mom and fell in love with. Thanks for listening. Sincerely, Sheri

I always keep coming back to Coco, no matter how many perfumes I have (and it's a lot!). My mom wore it only in special occasions but I fell in love with it as a teenager and now I wear it all the time. Sure, the scent has changed over time and it's now spicier with a hint of creaminess, whereas it used to be a lot more floral and much creamier but I really don't mind. It's still recognizable as the one and only Coco and you know that when you wear it, nobody else will smell like you! Chanel perfumes are timeless and this is no exception.

great fragrance, that has stayed the same over time. All other fragrances I've liked over the years, eventually have changed and smell terrible now. Chanel is the only one that is exactly as it was in the 1980s, when I first wore it.
