Garbage. I don’t know what possessed me to order this on bluray from amazon. I watched the first 15 minutes, fast-forwarded 10 minutes at a time until about the 3/4 mark, ejected it, and threw it in the garbage. What a complete waste of time & money. I’m sure someone is impressed with themselves for filming an entire movie in shakey, shitty, Android phone footage. Idiotic, irritating, & unwatchable unless you’re a 12-year old used to watching nothing but youtube videos on your $70 hand-me-down shoe-phone.

For the sun-genre, it is what it is. There is more easily a suspension of belief in Evil Dead 2 than here. The actors are doing their job with what they have, but the writing is contrived and seems like sensationalism looking for a formula.

Cloverfield is one solid made monster found footage movie that has some nice ideas and use of suspense . Story here wasnt nothing special but for what is trying to be it was rather survicable while its characters may be shallow and empty but for this kind of film ,that wasnt so important. Cloverfield is solid flick that will be enjoyable for most of people.
