The rides are fun, and the waits aren't super long. Food is way overpriced. Tickets are also crazy overpriced! My boyfriend and I went over the 4th of July holiday because of the discount on tickets and that made it worth the experience. It's certainly not as big as other amusement parks, but it's a fun afternoon in Albuquerque. Wear sunscreen and a hat!

The employees are friendly (most of the time) but look very uninterested in their jobs. Don't expect a Disney World level experience. Also, too many darn kids with no proper adult supervision running around.

I put off going to Cliff's for the longest time because I thought it was like some sleazy fair traveling carnival. But it's actually a very nice little amusement park, especially for families.

ICliff's is large enough that there is a variety of things to do, but small enough so you don't spend the entire day walking and standing in line. There are even a few fun water attractions so that you can cool off.

We took our children when they were 3 and 6. There is an entire area of Cliff's devoted to children of that age. There was a tiny ferris wheel, flying helicopters, cars, a carousel, a safari jeep, motorcycles, pretend hot air balloons, swings, and something called a frog hopper. A frog hopper is like one of those "drop" rides, but much smaller. Instead of ascending to a great height and dropping, it ascends about 10 feet and "hops", dropping approx. two feet at a time. My 3-year-old was too small for this ride, but my 6-year-old loved it.

We were able to take the kids on two of the adult rides, the Big Flush and the log ride. On the Big Flush you get on a plastic sled and go shooting through a tube water slide (completely enclosed). From the ride's title, I assume it's supposed to similuate being flushed down a toilet. We all had a blast being "flushed". If you are riding with your children, I would recommend riding the green tube rather than the black, because the black tube is pitch dark. The log ride was a lot of fun too.

I went on the Rattler without the kids. It's kind of intense for a wooden roller coaster. A little too jerky for me and my poor back, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

Cliff's has a small water playground that may require a separate admission, I can remember. It's a shallow pool with a big play area in the middle of it. There are platforms, water guns, slides, wheels, and a big bucket that tips over every five minutes. My kids loved it, but it was nerve wracking to keep an eye on them. The first thing they do is get up on the platforms where I can't see them. There are also lots of older kids (8 through 11) playing there, and I was worried they might run into the littler kids. Well, nothing like that happened and everyone had a great time. The lifeguards there kept a pretty tight rein on things. Even so, if you have small children I would recommend putting on your suit and getting in with them. There are clean private changing rooms there which are free.

For older kids and teenagers there are the traditional carnival games and rides--the yoyo, the roller coaster, the pirate ship, the log ride, the Big Flush, the Rattler, and bumper cars. Enough to keep them busy for the afternoon at least!

We ate at one of the food counters at Cliff's. They all serve pretty much the same thing--hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and nachos. The price was not exorbitant. We had green chile cheeseburgers and nachos, which we enjoyed. I think you can bring your lunch if you want to.

I think Cliff's is a good deal for a fun afternoon, considering an all day ride pass is under $20. If you are just there with your family and don't want to ride anything, you can buy a general admission ticket for $1.50.

This small amusement park was easy to see from the street but difficult to find the entrance for parking since there were no signs. Please write down directions from their website.

We found tickets for a low price on the local Craigslist from people doing fundraising. We got in for $22 per person that included the admission, unlimited rides and watermania.

Go as early as you can because the lines are not that long. If you have people who like riding the faster or scarier rides, the lines start picking up 30 minutes after opening. The kiddie land isn't that bad throughout the day. My little ones had fun and although they had to stand in line, it wasn't for very long.

The food isn't that great. It's very pricey. Eat before or after you leave. For drinks, I'd recommend buying a souvenir cup and sharing that. The refills on those are not that bad but I'd stick with water. Bring sunscreen because there isn't much shaded areas within the park unless you're in kiddie land.

No one got a map when we entered the park. I'd suggest to print one out because the bathroom locations will be important especially if you need to use it. We bathrooms hiding behind Coyote Café and we wouldn't have known that if someone didn't point it out to us. Print out a park map and make note of the bathroom locations.

The park is small but there are a couple descent rides that are worthwhile. If you have small children, they'll truly enjoy it. Don't forget to purchase a Fun Card if you plan on playing games at the booth or getting something to eat. There are deals that you can buy online on their website or at the kiosk in the park.

My family of 4 and I went to the park for Father's Day and all was good until we rode the sidewinder. Upon getting off I realized my hair was covered in hydraulic fluid from the ride. We finally located a manager and told him the problem. He stated there was nothing he could do and walked off. So we never got a refund and I had to pay $60+ to have my hair fixed. Shame on Cliff's for not caring enough, you lost a customer and I will make sure everyone hears about this.

I visited Cliff's while in town from Pittsburgh ... While I was at a close friends company picnic I was approached by a security guard and told that i was harassing a few of the booth attendants .. when i asked the Sec Guard to accompany me to the rest of the party I was with so Icould verify my where abouts while i stood back I let him explain what i supposedly did ,they said it was not me. that it could not have been me ,that Ihadn't been alone the entire visit and sec was mistaken ... when asked to view the security tapes we were denied after 45 mins of arguing with the park managers (which happen to be a married couple ) we were escorted off the premises ... while leaving, accompanied by the head of security ,the and i quote said that I was the wrong guy but I happened to be bald but i do not have a tattoo sleeve as was reported by the attendants. He went on to say that he told the managers that it wasn't me but it didn't matter to them.

We moved to New Mexico in the last few years and decided to go to Cliffs for a weekend get away. The park was very overpriced. Some of the rides were fun but I have one major complaint. Cliffs is NOT plus size friendly. I am a size 14/16 and kicked off a few rides. My husband was also kicked off a few rides due to "size", although the bars clicked and sounded as they locked. If that is not embarrassing enough the attendants were rude about it. Only one attendant was respectful and polite through the whole situation. I ended up crying in front of one of the workers because she was extremely rude. My husband and I have visited many other amusement parks and have only been kicked off one ride due to size in the past. So to be kicked off 3 in one day, just made this such an awful experience.

The only thing "saving" this review is the fact that during Covid they are doing quite well at protecting everyone. They would clean the rides after every round. They had the capacity of the park quite low. I didn't feel like I was constantly bumping into people.

Other than that I felt it was a waste of money and was bored. We didn't stay longer than 3 hours.

From the moment we entered booth clerks response to every question, after charging my son and i over $60, was "hmmm, that's a good question, I don't know...maybe....duh..." Water portion of the park was open, we paid extra for that then when we got over to it learned they just opened the gates to the whole park and weren't charging or requiring a pass THAT DAY, of course we couldn't get our money back from the adolescents at any booth because every answer was the same "i don't know, duh, that's weird, like he shouldn't have charged you, sorry" Then, while my 6 year old is trying to enjoy the water play area, i can barely see past my chair through the hundreds of soaking wet adults wearing NO SWIMMING ATTIRE running around nearly plowing down the children. Teenagers and twenty somethings and up that weren't even accompanied with children running through there, going on the slides and play areas right along side peoples toddlers. We couldn't enjoy it, it was overly crowded and I'm sorry I can't believe they don't require swimwear. Lastly, my son took his glasses off before riding the galaxy coaster, we are responsible for their loss of course but I was so disturbed by how completely rude the men were that were operating the ride. They hurried my son off (of course) but he was trying to find his glasses, they glanced down at the seat and said sorry lady, we aren't responsible. I was so upset and just the lack of kindness or even taking a minute to look. As we walked away, I saw one of them throw something to the other and it hit the pavement far below and they were both laughing shrugging 'oh, well'. I waited 30 minutes for a manager and she offered no help other than to say ' yeah, they aren't over there and he's sorry' She didn't even speak to me first, she stopped there after a first svc clerk radios to her 'glasses lost on galaxy'. We are poor and those glasses are the only ones my son has and they are going to be hard to replace, just would have appreciated the effort. This place is too expensive. Took thirty minutes to get water and a funnel cake. The staff was childish and rude. Saved for a month and tdd was our special day. No thanks! Never again!

On a recent trip to this amusement park, we were treated nastily by the people at the front gate. I bring granola bars for my grandchildren to have at snack time. These are a healthy item, oh no, a healthy snack is not allowed at Cliffs. They are so greedy and money hungry that we were told we either had to throw them away/eat them right then and there or return them to our car. The food at Cliffs is high calorie, high sugar and fat items. The type of food that contributes to obesity in the USA. We had bought season passes for the grandchildren to have a fun time not to get fat on the food at Cliffs. Add into it that my youngest granddaughter has road the carousel many times yet today she is suddenly to short to ride it and only the big kids can ride. Are you joking me. REALLY

Cliffs Amusement park has been around for a while, (At least since I was a kid and used to be called Uncle Cliffs). If your looking for some family amusement in Albuquerque then this might be a place to visit...but....Beware...The pricing in my opinion is ludicrous. We went on a Sunday In mid August 2013. I planned to let the kids start off the day in the Water Monkeys splash and play area. It's essentially an area where kids can wade and splash in a small pool with a couple of small water slides.(Bring extra set of clothes for kids if you visit) I figured I would sit and watch the kids splash around and get some work done on my laptop. Buying Ride Passes for the kids was expensive at $29 per ticket. I paid $4 for entry into the park to just walk around or sit down. When we got to the Water Monkeys area, I was stopped and told I could not enter without paying an additional $11.50 (Just to sit down in the bench area and work!) I asked to speak with a Supervisor who was essentially a young teenage girl with no real management skill set to address my complaint. I asked to speak to someone higher and she stated she was the Manager in Charge for the park and really could do nothing. Like a dummy I paid the $11.50 and went in to do some work. We took a break for lunch at a grill stand in the area. We waited in line for some time and place an order. Once I completed my order, I handed cash to pay when the young girl at cash register stated "Oh yeah!, you cant use cash." I asked why not and she stated there were too many problems with employee theft.(yikes). In short, Cliffs is amusing at best and not a real Amusement Park, just a couple of coasters, log ride and some kiddie rides, no real management just some young adults and teens running the park and nothing close in the way of customer engagement. One suggestion is to stay at the Hilton Hotel in Albuquerque which has a way better indoor water park complete with indoor surf wave area.
More fun and bang for your buck here than the Cliffs Water Monkeys area which will make a monkey out of you by paying extra.

I purchased Season tickets for the two children back in march and two "walk around" season passes for me and my wife. Number one the water park did not open until way later than promised on the web site. So the water part finally opened and we took are children to the park for the first time since the water park opened. They charged us an additional $10.00 each parent to get into the water park. I was fit to be tied because we thought that the season "walk around" passed for the parents covered this. To make a long story short I spoke to the owner of the park and he basically told me to bad I would have to pay $10.00 a person more each parent when we came back to the park if we took are 7 and 9 year old to the water park. What a [--] rip off Cliffs is. To deceive customers into paying an extra $20.00 is theft!!!!!!
