The Guardians will have a new leader in the dugout for the first time in 11 seasons after Terry Francona announced his retirement at the end of the 2023 regular season. A month after Francona's departure, Cleveland pegged former catcher Stephen Vogt as the club's new skipper, giving him a three-year deal. Although Vogt has never managed before, he does have coaching expierence as Seattle's bullpen and quality control coach during the 2023 season.
