Cleveland Central Catholic High School Reviews
Rating 3.89 out of 5 83 reviews
I am the parent of a student who attended Cleveland Central Catholic High School and I can say that the staff there were very supportive of my child's needs. Whenever he had problems with his school work, the counselors were always available to answer questions. I felt that the staff at the school really cared about their students and didn't just look at them like a number.
I love Cleveland Central Catholic, it’s a good school good teachers, good administrators, students, coaches, and counselors. They put me in a direction of success. Also giving me some advance classes. I overall love my experience at Cleveland Central Catholic
My experience at Central was pretty lackluster. Administration is not inclusive at all and glorifies their favorite students. I have seen teachers and staff counting down days until their contract with the school was over so that they could leave because of how administration treats them. There is no true plan for college readiness and no opportunity for advanced courses as these began to be stripped from selection within my last two years. Teachers do pretty well as long as they can keep the class engaged. Extracurriculars, including sports, felt overly pushed onto a select group of teachers. Sports here are disappointing, as only the basketball team seems to get any attention given it consistently does well. If you are looking for a school with college-prep or a wider selection of sports, look elsewhere.
