City of London School for Girls is a selective, independent day school in the heart of the City. Girls come to us from all over London. It is a unique learning environment, and we are delighted that you are considering joining us.

We highly recommend visiting us. We have various open events over the summer and autumn terms.

Registration for entry in September 2025 will open in June.
First assessment
Our first assessments will be held between 15 and 20 November 2024.
Second assessment and interview
Our second assessments will be held on Tuesday 7 January. Interviews will follow later in January.
Places offered
Offers, including scholarship and bursary offers, will be sent via email on in mid February.
Deadline to accept: early March 2024.
Welcome afternoon
In the summer term, the newest year group of City students – and their parents – gather in the school building to meet each other, ask any questions, and settle into their new school space.

Yesterday our year 9 students attended an enriching talk that brought their GCSE poetry anthology to life. Having studied the work of Raymond Antrobus in their poetry lessons, they had the chance to discuss and question Antrobus on his poetic work and writing journey.
