I think city college is a very great and diverse campus with a variety of amazing professors. I like that they have many opportunities but i would like to see more scholarship and financial opportunities for students with difficulties.
i mostly liked the art and musid classes. Its a very diverse school just a little hard and the professors do not care at all
i love city college! since i’ve been here it’s felt like home. i was struggling with finding a school that fits my schedule. This school is perfect for me because it offers night classes which is great for people who work.
The City College of New York has a beautiful campus with breathtaking architecture. It’s one of the main things that caught my attention when applying for college.
It's a great school for my psychology major. I loved all the psychology classes I took and their professors are amazing. I don't like the math department and the science department.
City College made sure to connect students to the right resources at the appropriate times. Asking an department a question either led to an answer or a transfer. I found myself with a lot of questions regarding my financial aid that was through the state. Thanks to those working in financial aid, they were able to redirect me to the coordinator of my grants which helped me finish paying off my last few semesters at City College.
One thing I would like to see a change in is the bored members of the Athletics Department who do not take a lot of student led suggestions in fear of change. There should be no fear in change and ideas should be discussed not dismissed. Suggestions do not need to be implemented however a discussion with students on why a suggestion may not work would lead to better communication, better suggestions and a build in the athletics morale.

For now, the schedule is very hard to manage because mostly all the class that are essential for my major is full and its hard to find a time that is understandable for classes.
The professors I have taken are very helpful and make my learning experience enjoyable. There are a lot of resources provided to students such as financial aid and internships.
I loved my time at CCNY. Even though the second half was online due to COVID, my professors did their best to give us a well-rounded education. They managed to foster a sense of community in a digital age that I didn't know was possible. The also offered unique coursework and the opportunity to take classes at an CUNY.
I also had an advisor who was supportive throughout my college years, and offered advice and a listening ear as I decided on what to study and struggled with my mental health.
The only thing I would like to see change at CCNY is more on campus events. In the time that I was in-person, most events were scheduled at the same time, making it hard to attend and get more involved with the student body.

CCNY has a beautiful campus, so pretty that it pleases to go there. I love the community, I really like that the classes that I have taken(at least most of them) are just with no more than 25 students, making it somewhat easier to make friends. On the other hand, I feel like they could do a better job at guiding freshmans through the process of finacial aid because it is money and time that we are talking about. I understant that the staff members have to attend a lot of students but it would be nice to get reliable info from them, after all I am paying for my education and I dont want to feel as if I am asking them to gift me their services of guidence.
Campus is great and the professors are really intellectual individuals that are outstanding at breaking down material.
Overall experience from a commuter is that its far if you live in queens.
has various activities such as gyms, libraries that students frequently use.
Has an alright campus, but classes can be confusing to find at times.
Its pretty sanitary, some buildings more than others.
the bathrooms are a 4/5 and the ones in the locker rooms are 5/5 and they always smell great.
the staff is amazing and helpfull and do their job well.
the teachers are also very nice and forgiving so long as you pass/try in the class.

My counselor was amazing. She helped me all the way through graduation. My instructors always made sure I had everything I needed. They would offer me extra credit when they knew I was struggling.
My experience at CUNY City College of New York has been overall positive, marked by both valuable learning opportunities and areas for improvement. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the diverse and inclusive community on campus. The rich mix of students and faculty from various backgrounds provided a stimulating environment that broadened my perspectives and enriched my education. The academic programs and resources offered at City College were commendable, contributing to a robust learning experience. The dedicated faculty members were knowledgeable and approachable, fostering an environment where students could thrive.
Classes are pretty difficult as an engineering major, however the community and vibes help weigh everything out. It's affordable and easy to navigate. I love it here.
The resources and opportunities are amazing. It is a very safe school and it provides students with a great education. The advisors and teacher-student relationships are the only bad part of the school. You have to figure out your problems yourself because advisors never respond on time.
I truly enjoyed my time at CUNY City College of New York except when I had some very personal and abusive relationship so my GPA went very low and tried to be readmitted and wasn't allowed to do so. I wasn't able to return and finish my B.A. degree.
