City College made sure to connect students to the right resources at the appropriate times. Asking an department a question either led to an answer or a transfer. I found myself with a lot of questions regarding my financial aid that was through the state. Thanks to those working in financial aid, they were able to redirect me to the coordinator of my grants which helped me finish paying off my last few semesters at City College.
One thing I would like to see a change in is the bored members of the Athletics Department who do not take a lot of student led suggestions in fear of change. There should be no fear in change and ideas should be discussed not dismissed. Suggestions do not need to be implemented however a discussion with students on why a suggestion may not work would lead to better communication, better suggestions and a build in the athletics morale.

My experience at CUNY City College of New York has been overall positive, marked by both valuable learning opportunities and areas for improvement. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the diverse and inclusive community on campus. The rich mix of students and faculty from various backgrounds provided a stimulating environment that broadened my perspectives and enriched my education. The academic programs and resources offered at City College were commendable, contributing to a robust learning experience. The dedicated faculty members were knowledgeable and approachable, fostering an environment where students could thrive.
I loved my time at CCNY. Even though the second half was online due to COVID, my professors did their best to give us a well-rounded education. They managed to foster a sense of community in a digital age that I didn't know was possible. The also offered unique coursework and the opportunity to take classes at an CUNY.
I also had an advisor who was supportive throughout my college years, and offered advice and a listening ear as I decided on what to study and struggled with my mental health.
The only thing I would like to see change at CCNY is more on campus events. In the time that I was in-person, most events were scheduled at the same time, making it hard to attend and get more involved with the student body.
