This is my experience seeing Val Kilmer’s “Citizen Twain” live in April of 2013 at the Wyly theater. It was, or was very close to, the last live performance Val gave before the first signs of what would later be revealed as the cancer that took his voice away.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m the biggest Val Kilmer fan out there. I own his entire filmography on DVD. Val Kilmer has been my hero since I was about 8 years old.
