Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Angie N0 contributionsWe haven’t been to The Cincinnati Zoo for many years. We recently visited and were pleasantly surprised at all of the changes! Such a beautiful Zoo! Our o my complaint was parking. There was no parking available and we ended up pretty far away on a side street. It would be nice if there was a back entrance into the zoo, while the parking lots are under construction. You forget how hilly Cincinnati is.Written 2 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- burghughesGreendale, WI1,026 contributionsI don’t think that Great American gets enough credit for its unique qualities that really tie it to the city and region. From the smokestacks to the riverboat in center field, you know you are in Cincinnati when you enter this park. Even the light poles that tie it back to Crowley Field.
Beyond that though, the park is lacking. I had to walk forever to find a hot dog, which was flavorless. My seats this time were great, but this is the first time in approximately 10 visits that I liked the seats and I have been all over the park. They pushed the 50/50 raffle hard, but saw no other vendors during the 7 innings we stayed.
Pluses include, the sound system, which is very good and the location, which allows easy drop off by Lyft/Uber and has lots of restaurants in easy walking distance for after the game. The employees in both the food stand and souvenir shop were great. Though I did not visit this time, I’ve been to the Reds Hall of Fame and is very good. The minuses include the views from most of the seats, the poor food quality, and the general experience which is not as exciting as most ball parks I’ve been to. The race between the Mr. Reds is an obvious rip off of the Sausage Race in Milwaukee, the music choices and between inning games etc. seemed to fall flat.Written 8 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Overall lines were crazy and people everywhere. We got train info——-good to know. The building is something to see!Written 4 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Baybug2Macon, GA300 contributionsThe place is huge. It is free to get in and park. There was a kid event today so they were everywhere. It was super neat to see a Picasso. It was quite neat. There are three floors and room after room. If you love artist will give you a nice time.Written 4 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SaraR54Bowling Green, KY3 contributionsIf you are into signage, typography, history or vintage stuff (and especially if you're into all of the above), you're going to love it here! They have an AMAZING collection of signs and so much background information on everything. We listened to a little bit of a tour and I wish we had stayed for the whole thing because the tour guide was great; it's not often that you meet someone who gets to do something they truly love for work. There is also a neon shop in the back where they give demonstrations. Free parking, which was nice, and the museum is easy to find. Well worth the cost of admission but it's not so huge that you're overwhelmed. We took about an hour and a half to go through it but I like to read EVERYTHING. They have a small gift shop where they sell airbrushed hats which is maybe the coolest thing I've ever seen in a museum gift shop. You will notice signage everywhere else you go for the rest of the day after visiting this place. Definitely set aside an hour or two to visit if you are in the area!Written 5 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chattygirl7491Franklin Ohio10,195 contributionslarge old cemetery and botanical garden. Great place for winter walk on beautiful day. Lots of mature trees and plants and a few lakes. I didn't stay long but enjoyed walking around and saw a few birds. The swans were so graceful and lovely to watch. the stone bridges would be good for pictures.Written 9 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jenandallthethingsLos Angeles112 contributionsI like walking across bridges, especially ones that lead from one state to another. So this one was fun even if it is a rather short walk (10 min if strolling?). The views of Covington and Cincinnati are lovely from each side.
This bridge doesnt indicate when you cross the state line like the Purple People Bridge, but it does have spots on the walk where you can use a QR code and hear some history about the bridge and its construction.Written 1 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is one of our favorite times to visit the Krohn Conservatory to see the beautiful flowers in the spring show especially after a long dreary winter. It’s not especially large as you can see everything in an hour or less. Still it leaves you feeling elated about the coming warmer seasons to come. Granted prices have risen a bit after Covid but is still reasonable for those who enjoy a calming setting filled with flowers and plants.Written 2 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jazzy472021Pennsylvania31 contributionsWhat a fun and scenic area to explore while visiting Cincinnati and the riverwalk. There are swings to enjoy, play areas to explore, a nice walkway along the river with a closeup view of the bridge, and even a light show at the fountain steps! A very creative and thoughtful design. We visited in the evening so parking was easy, no crowds, and just a nice place to be outside.Written 16 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SaraR54Bowling Green, KY3 contributionsCome hungry. We ate brunch before coming here and wished we hadn't. They have SO MANY kinds of food. You can also buy things like spices, tea, plants, handmade goods, etc. If we had been in town for longer, we would have bought groceries here to make a meal or two back at the apartment we were staying at. There is an inside section and outside booths, and it's surrounded by lots of great shops as well. They have a bar serving alcohol and coffee as well as free water. A great spot to grab a drink and people watch. It's also dog friendly so bring your dog or look at other people's dogs, it's really a win-win situation. Lots of reasonable prices parking nearby, and the Connector also stops here. They entire neighborhood has loads of shops and restaurants. They have trailer type bathrooms where you have toilet and sink to yourself which is much appreciated when you're out and about. A great place to chill for a couple of hours.Written 5 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anna LMichigan City, IN6 contributionsA beautiful museum with indepth exhibits. A must see stop in the city. We planned 2 hours to go through the museum and did not get through it all. Would recommend if you read all of the informational plackards, you should allow more time.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
