Field of dreams for Christ’s College athletes

10 Apr 2024

Led by track and field talent Jake Boyd, Christ’s College athletes have again showcased the depth of school skills by claiming multiple titles for Canterbury at the South Island Secondary Schools Athletics Championships in Timaru.

Many College athletes have set personal bests in perfect conditions across the three-day event, with Jake continuing his golden run in four events and throwing a record distance in the U14 discus. Meanwhile, Riley Diver, Otto Church, Sam Moore, Lui Tupuola, and Harrison Laing have jumped, thrown, or run their way to titles.
