Overall my experience was good and challenging at times. I found my on campus classes easily and my professors were nice. I lived in a dorm on campus and it was okay for a rate 3 building. The food on campus was okay but I found the walk long and tiring at times.
The Ohio State University has excellent student organizations, course options, major/minor options, a beautiful campus, and a diverse student population. However, it is very expensive even for an in-state student and is not very safe.
I have enjoyed my experience at Ohio State so far. The university is one of the largest in the country, but as a freshman and now junior, I've never felt small. I have always had ways to connect with peers and professors. I am excited to continue by academic career with OSU. One thing that I wish they improved was their housing service. There are a lot of excellent dorms, but because of the lottery system, you could end up in an extremely old dorm with minimum accommodations.
I'm very disappointed in OSU. The way they cover up the greek life scandals and protect the bad people that go here is depressing. Not to mention how bad the classes and professors are. I'm not sure why OSU has this great reputation. Our football team is great but thats about it. Unless you love binge drinking and wasting 40k of your parents money then I'd go to Miami or OU.
Huge campus. Great resources, clubs, and organizations offered for almost any field of study and hobby/interest.
I love attending Ohio State--all of my experiences with my instructors have been great, and I like the overall environment. People on campus are friendly and kind, students, staff, and faculty alike. The food selection is pretty decent for campus dining--the food trucks are my favorite. However, Ohio State lacks the courses I need to pursue medical illustration, and I am doing everything I can to avoid having to transfer because I love being a student at OSU so much.
The Ohio State University is quite large so one is able to find community. They have great programs. Taking Food Science, I enjoy the curriculum and coursework. Shops, jobs, and other necessities are within close distance making things logistically easier
The classes were tough but taught me a lot. Plus, the campus vibe was always lively, whether it was cheering on our teams or hanging out with friends. It wasn't all perfect, though. Tuition could be a real headache, and I hope they find ways to make it more affordable. And it'd be great to see even more diversity and inclusion efforts.
The Ohio State University is a diverse university with so many different opportunities for students. Students have opportunities to join different clubs or organizations to learn about the university and themselves.
Ohio state brought me the best of friends, endless opportunities personal, professional, and academic growth. A campus that felt like home and brought me so many new experiences. I loved my time at Ohio State more than anything. If I were to see change in the university, I would like to see more safety measures put in place for off campus as well as reduced class sizes.
Overall, amazing experience with academics and student life. Classes were challenging but full of great students who helped you get through it. Enjoyed living in the dorms both years as long as you get a double.
This school is the embodiment of home, and it welcomes every person with open arms. It has the opportunities of a big school but the connections of a small one, and truly creates an environment where one wants to stay involved
Overall I love what I've seen so farband the only change I would like to see is an increase in the diversity of the campus.
Ohio State is my new home away from home. I cherish this university and all it has to offer. Since I arrived on campus I have felt so welcome and extremely privileged to be a part of the family that is Ohio State. I have had so many new opportunities open up to me here that I could not have received at any other university in the country
Overall I really love OSU. Only things I can complain about are the winter weather and the wifi. Also, always check professor ratings before choosing a class.
I personally really like being at the Ohio State University. The teachers are greats and the students are kind to each other. We also have very good athletic programs. The dorms are pretty good. Majority of the advisors are helpful
I like it it’s great it’s the best it’s my favorite I wouldn’t trade it for the world it’s so fun I love it so much
Although the university is not in the best part of town,we are given tools to help us feel safe. Some of the professors are not easy to understand and communicate with us
At Ohio State, I have felt that I am learning at an advanced level and am pushed every day by my peers and my professors. I had fears going to such a large school that I would be overwhelmed, but I found a great support system and my professors are very efficient about catering to the needs of their students and quickly responding to issues we have. Columbus is an up-and-coming city that I am grateful to stay in post-grad while attending Ohio State as a graduate student.
The Ohio State University has made me get out of my shell and find new people. It has made me make new friends and build relationships with my professors,
