Did curbside takeout during covid and ordered a couple of sandwiches. Pub favorite sandwich is turkey and a classic Ruben sandwich. They both come with a side salad and the poppyseed vinaigrette is delicious and the sandwiches were too. The only negative I have is...the portion size of the sandwich for the price. While tasty the sandwiches are on the smaller size but maybe it is due to covid pricing?More

My husband had never been to M's Pub before so we so he could experience first hand their delicious food. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the view of the Old Market. Our server was awesome and very friendly. My husband had the blackened...shrimp salad and I had a small size M's house salad with steak. My husband's salad was huge and mine was the perfect size. They were yummy! Their dressings are all homemade and we both had the dill, also very good.More

Trip advisor did not fail on this one, looked at the rating and reviews and decided to try it. It felt a little upscale when we came in, however it was around 415pm & many of the other guests were dressed casually in jeans. They...do reservations and I would probably encourage that, because when we arrived and I asked about it I was told that they had reservations at 6, so we should be fine to eat in 2 hours. The food was great and the service exceptional. We all had sandwiches and the crab cakes as an appetizer. Everything was very tasty.More

We were excited to try a new restaurant in downtown Omaha and M's Pub has good reviews. Sadly, our experience was pretty wretched. For starters, the Caesar salad was okay and the banh mi was decent though far from authentic. The real problem was the...entree, a $51 ribeye. The first plate was a disaster: tough, with lots of gristle and fat.. Any real chef would never have sent such a mess to a customer. When this was tactfully pointed out to the server, she kindly offered to replace it and the manager came by and apologized, which was nice. But though the second version was more successful, it still was nowhere near what an expensive cut of meat should be, especially in a state famous for its beef!. Also, someone thought it would be a good idea to whip a lot of Romano cheese into the mashed potatoes: in fact this was a very bad idea, making the already gummy potatoes a turgid mess. Service was good, though the restaurant did seem understaffed. We always like to try new places, but in this instance, once was more than enough.More

Very happy the place was redone and opened again. We speed in for dessert and were so disappointed. The carrot cake tasted stale and the cheesecake was actually runny... never seen that anywhere before. How did the kitchen and server miss that? The atmosphere was...great and we sat up front to get a view. We will try it splash but be cautious if ordering dessert... it may not be what you expected at the price they charge.More

Came here on a recommendation. I didn’t care for the Old Market District, but this was a great place. Prices are reasonable and the service was incredible. Everyone was so kind and my water glass was never empty. The menu is a bit too eclectic...and overwhelming but the staff guided me to some great food.More

After reading all of the reviews, I guess we were expecting a little more. We had a reservation, but we were crammed into the back of the restaurant. It was noisy and hard to have a conversation. We ordered the Lahvosh and it was delicious....We should have stopped there.... the rest of our dinner was overpriced and nothing special. We ordered the Penne a la Vodka which was not ... it was penne in a marinara sauce and was tasteless. The pot roast was a small portion and just average. The Steak tips were good and my husband enjoyed the lamb. We had eaten in several other restaurants in the Old Market, and this was just good.More

Just a stop over on our way from Chicago to Boulder, and some Omahans brought us here. Was taken aback by the service, food, both quality and quantity, and price. We ate and each had a few drinks, 2 of us had dessert and the...bill (before a generous tip) was under $180 We will be back!More

I am Celiac and had a great experience here. Very knowledgeable on the phone when I called prior. Their COVID protocols were solid and I witnessed them handling several non-maskers in a very polite manner who then masked up. They have a dedicated GF menu...and I had the surf and turf satay. It was very tasty and was filling. The side salad was great and there was plenty of shrimp and steak tips with it. The dressings were on the side - both salad and satay - which wasn’t requested and was a great touch. I look forward to eating here again in the future.More

Great food!! Not much for a vegan, yet the perfect vegan option for me was the Carrot dog on a hoagie. Served w/ lettuce, tomato, stone ground mustard, relish, and sauerkrout along w/a side spinach salad was not only healthy, yet also very filling. My...husband's corn chowder garnished w/fresh basil and served w/warm fresh bread was "the best he's ever had." He's 75 BTW. Thanks again guys. Job very well done.More

Service was slow and abrupt. We had to flagg the server down for water refills. Coffee came black no cream even offered. We didn't ask for cream because the coffee would have been cold by the time we got it. Food was good, not excellent....The rum sauce for the pound cake had no rum.More

We chose to have dinner here due to the excellent reviews it received. We had reservations and were seated right away. The server was disinterested and almost inattentive. We ordered appetizers and entrees. The food was served hot but flavor wise was standard at best....The appetizers were much better than the entrees. It was almost like a very fancy deli. We were shocked it rated so high.More

When driving through Omaha we chose M’s based on reviews and it is the right choice in The Old Market. We sat outside under the sturdy awning even though it was a rainy night. We ordered the lavosh which is a pizza cracker elevated due...to the Havarti cheese topping. Highly recommend sharing one as an appetizer. I ordered the Asian tuna salad and my son ordered the beef tips - cooked like escargot in garlic and oil then covered in cheese… he loved it. Many choices on the menu for all tastes and a nice stop on the journey across the country.More

We had lunch here during CWS in mid-June. Service was so-so, but outdoor seating area was great and food was above average. Tuna salad and chicken sandwiches were more than adequate and both came with fresh salad topped with nice poppy seed vinaigrette dressing. Would...definitely return.More

To explain the title, I happened to sit next to Mike and Heather and Mike was celebrating being 42 and he bought me dinner (and a beer and 2 shots of tequilas and a whiskey) even though we had only just met and so I...technically didn't pay for my food but to be clear, this place is outstanding. How full it was on a Sunday early evening is testament to that. I had the cheese pot with beef tips and the best tater tots I have ever experienced with a German style curry sauce. The beers were grand and well looked after and a wide selection for any beer fiend. I also had the creme brûlée for dessert with a dessert wine I wish I had got a photo of so I could buy it, it was THAT good and only $7. Staff are not only cool but super friendly and helpful and made it an evening I won't forget (yeah, sure, maybe Mike did that with all the booze and food but company only works in a great place).More
