This was our second time renting from Springfield Marina. We came back because the boats were great, service was excellent and friendly. The lake is a wonderful place to relax and have fun. This time we had a couple of problems with our pontoon and they responded immediately and even gave us a discount. We will be renting from them again!!

We rented the Party Barge over the weekend. The check in process was a breeze. The office staff were very friendly. We got to the boat at the dock and they walked us thru some directions. The Party Barge was perfect for our group. When returning after almost 8 hours on the water, the check out process was as smooth as the check in process. I highly recommend the Marina for any rental needs. My only recommendation is to put longer ropes for docking. The rope in the front of the boat was too short to reach any of the cleats on the docks.

We rented a 19' Sea ray I/O runabout bowrider. The boat was in great shape, and all necessary equipment (paddles, anchor, fenders, Fire extinguisher and life vests) was on board. The boat ran very well, although I didn't check the engine hours. A new propeller was installed, and the boat was very smooth. There was a stereo on board that can link to your phone by bluetooth. We rented the tube for towing, which was money well spent. Worth every penny to watch my kids get launched off of it! The checkout on the boat was thorough. The day before the rental, they emailed me a link to a quick boat safety video, with a quiz at the end. The video was a good refresher, since I haven't piloted a boat in many years. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. This was a weekday, so they had plenty of time to take care of us. The lake was very nice. Just about the perfect size. Big enough to be entertaining, but not so large that waves and chop would be an issue.

We went here to inquire about renting a kayak and spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to help us. We were told be with you in a minute. Then we were told next time we needed to make reservations before we came out to make sure they have the rentals because some people come out and rent everything they have they are big group and come first. The prices were high and not worth it.

This was a horrible experience. The party pontoon was in bad shape. No shade provided due to the umbrella being filmsy and poorly anchored they snapped in the wind. Because of this we has to endure the hot sun. The price for the day was $575.00. It was a total rip off. Next year we will be going back to Shelbyville for our rental.

We have been going here for years. The staff is great and they offer plenty of rentals for a couple, family or group of people. We have rented jet skies, boats , pontoon boats and all the fun stuff to go with it. Great place to visit if your in town for the week or just for the weekend.

We needed something that held 11 people. This was the only lake/marina that advertised something this big. Most places only had pontoons that held up to 10 people. We did fishing, swimming, and pulled an inflatable behind this which we rented for an extra $50. Had a great day. We went on a Monday in July so we had the entire lake for the day. I would recommend renting for the whole day if you're trying to fit in all of the same activities as us. The only bad thing was the speedometer did not work. It was decent for pulling an inflatable with a single person on it. We also got a 20% discount for the weekday rental. We brought food and were glad we did because there are no places to stop on the lake since it is a private house ownership around it.

My husband and I rented a pontoon boat with two other couples for the afternoon. The booking process was smooth and the rental boat was much nicer than I anticipated. The lake was beautiful and we are already making plans for our next visit. Thank you!

We have used this marina on three occasions and all have been great experiences. The facility is modern and clean, the staff professional, and rental pontoons in great condition. The bar and grill has fresh rice and chicken off the grill. The only reason I give it a 4 is because they ate priced so much higher than any other marina. All day pontoon is 500 compared to 300 at Kentucky Lake.

I just started using Lake Springfield Marina this spring. They are professional, courteous, patient, and prompt. I have enjoyed my experience docking my boat at their marina and plan to continue to use them in the future.

Hello!
Lake Springfield has two options when purchasing water use permits.
You can pay $16 for a 48-hour pass (regardless of the size or classification of your watercraft) or you can choose to go with a year pass (expires March 31st, 2020) which is determined and dependent upon the watercraft's classification (i.e.horsepower of the motor) and the owner's place of residence.
