For centuries, Charterhouse was primarily a boarding school; however, due to demand from parents, we are increasing the number of day pupils across all of the year groups.

Inclusivity sits at the heart of life at Charterhouse and whether you are a boarder or a day pupil, your House is a welcoming home from home.  In the same way as those boarding, a day pupil becomes a member of one of our boarding Houses and benefits from the full Charterhouse experience, taking part in every aspect of School life. The only difference is that they don’t sleep here!
