We stopped at Pinney’s Beach on Nevis as part of a Celebrity cruise excursion.
The beach and staff were very nice. Beach sand is a little different that the usual white beaches but it’s not rocky in the water (mostly shells and corral).

They have many restaurants and bars and stuff with change rooms and bathrooms.

    A very pleasant visit

Great church, with wonderful priest and welcoming parishioners. Mass was at 5:00pm local time on Saturday. Very small crowd on Saturday afternoon but amazing people and the pastor was very welcoming. Next time I’m in Nevis, I will definitely go there again.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton while taking an afternoon trip over to Nevis from St. Kitts.

While it's incredibly cool to see the historic building still standing, there just isn't much to see. Some informative signs describing the life of Hamilton in a room, and that's about it. Information you could probably get online if you cared to do so.

Interesting and insightful in many ways.
Very small museum but a wealth of information in one small space.
    Very hot.
Nice little cafe in the grounds.

Visited in September before 12pm so it was not busy. A lady offers you flannels to use to exfoliate your skin if you so wish to. The stream usually runs blue according to my family who visited in 2019. It looked too murky for me to try so gave it a miss. Nice to see though.

I would travel with either a tour guide or with family. Very old and ancient. We wish there was more information on the history of this area.

Deborah will welcome you with a huge smile, she is not only the gallerist but she is also an artist!!! The art gallery host real rare gem from the island... Ask for Vaugh's works you will be amazed but the artwork, the true talent and ... the price... Well if you want to place your money in valuable masterpieces, this is the place!!! My favorites are Vaugh and Young!

Still standing from Colonial times, this is a beautiful stone structure alongside the memorial square/park of Charlestown. The library is on the 2nd floor and the court house on the ground.

Coming from Charlestown's port and then following the Main Street to the right one will soon come upon the only two squares of this small town. First the tiny Dr. Wallwyn Square, followed by the equally triangular, but a bit bigger Memorial Square. There are trees, benches and a short white marble obelisk, commemorating the soldiers from Nevis, that lost their lives in WW II.

At the square's southern end is a two storey building wih a clocktower on top, built from local volcanic stone at the end of the 19th century. It is the Courthouse and Library of the island.

Hard to rate this. Very sad. The church is decimated. A banner hanging from it may have said 2019. Did a hurricane hit Nevis then? The good news is that there seems to be construction going on there. You can tell it once was stately.

wandering around Charlestown we came across a small art gallery and wandered in. The gallery is very interesting with a variety of art forms on show. Most impressive for me was a huge piece using fabric and stitching by Deborah Tyrell. By chance Deborah was in the gallery and we were able to have a chat about her work which is truly wonderful. I would have loved to have made her a rich lady by buying several pieces, but alas my favourite pieces were just out of my price range.
