Biography
Charles Cornwallis, 2nd Marquess Cornwallis, was born 19 October 1774 to Charles Cornwallis, 1st Marquess Cornwallis (1738-1805) and Jemima Tulikens Jones (c1747-1779) and died 9 August 1823 of unspecified causes. He married Louisa Gordon (1776-1850) 17 April 1797 .
The marquessate became extinct on his death while he was succeeded in his remaining titles by his uncle, the Right Reverend James Cornwallis.
