Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever Career Begins With Gregg Doyel Being A Total Creep To Her At Introductory Press Conference

Today, Caitlin Clark arrived in Indiana. They rolled out the red carpet for the most anticipated WNBA rookie of all time:

Unfortunately for the Fever and Caitlin Clark, one of the media members there was Gregg Doyel. The writer from the Indiana Star spells both his first and last name wrong and also spent last week complaining about Dan Hurley:

How did he follow up this complaint and hanging a banner for Purdue for losing with class? He spoke to a woman for the first time in his life. More specifically, Caitlin Clark.

"Hi…Caitlin…Gregg Doyel Indy Star….allude to this……"

Gregg Doyel does the famous heart that Caitlin does

"You like that?" - Caitlin

"I like that you're here….I like that you're here" - Gregg Doyel

And it SOMEHOW GETS WORSE!

"I do it to my family after every game…pretty cool" -Caitlin Clark

"Do it to me and we'll get along just fine" -Gregg Doyel

Caitlin Clark's reaction tells it all:

I do not think Gregg Doyel could've handled Caitlin Clark's first press conference worse. All-time bad. That would've been creepy if you were hitting on a girl at a bar, let alone this situation.

You also have to remember that this individual is the definition of a capital J Journalist. He takes pride in it. He's the one that would roll his eyes at a PFT for asking a funny question at Super Bowl Media Day….and now he turns around and does this? Classssssic.

P.s. Another win for Dan Hurley.
