Due to Blackpool being in tier 3 during October there wasn’t really anyone about so I’m not surprised nearly all kiosks etc on the pier were closed. It was still nice to have a walk along the pier though, there just wasn’t anything to do. There is someone on the entrance checking you in but the girl on the exit was just sat with her hood up looking at the her phone oblivious so she’d have no clue whether anyone went in or out.

We decided to visit Blackpool illuminations during COVID19 as we craved fun and Blackpool never disappoints! It was fairly late in the evening and we walked right round the pier. It was windy but not raining at least! We loved the character of the pier with the authentic iron seats and well kept buildings. Some of the shops were closed but this is to be as expected during a pandemic. We still loved being there. The big wheel was lit and we had fun in the amusement arcade. We finished off with some fun postcard photos, see attached! Lovely pier in a fun town.

Very well organised and spotlessly clean. Good choice of games and a nice atmosphere. Well done. We'll be back.

This is o.k. for a walk out and get some air. Unfortunately not everything was open so it looked a little sad as a result. Good track and trace arrangements.
