We had two dinners at Chef’s Plate. Our wait staff, Omar, Jesus and Jorge took great care of us the first night. I decided to try the ribeye and, unfortunately I was disappointed in it. Lots of fat but also, I’d requested medium-rare and it...was very rare so I just ate around the outside. The set menu offered lots of new items that one wasn’t likely to order so it was good for trying something different. Even though all the plates seem small, you’ll be full by the end of it all. We ate there again on Christmas Eve and Marco was very attentive. We even thought to tell him that we had no other plans for the night and he made sure that none of the courses were rushed. We stuck to the set menu for the evening but did splurge on a bottle of Don Leo Sauvignon Blanc after we advised the sommelier that the house wine we’d tried the first night was not very tasty. The Cauliflower cream soup was delicious. If you typically order your beef medium-rare, consider ordering it medium - I did so and this time it came out perfectly.More
